    I did, re-read my post.

And you can tell this after 1 preseason game? Your good, maybe I should bring you to Vegas.

Once again, maybe try reading some TC reviews.

First, the Pats were interested in Schlegel as well. And on several Pats boards, I read rumors after the draft they were going to draft him in the same round as the Jets did.

Second, you are of those people who think "value" matters. What are you basing this perceived value on? ESPN draft grades? Kiper? Idiot newspaper reporters giving post draft grades? All of that means shit. The ONLY, THE ONLY, thing that determines how good a draft was is the players production on the field. Whether or not they help you get closer to a championship. The Lions for 4 years got amazing value in the draft, how did that work out? You don't win in the draft, draft grades or "value" means NOTHING. What matters is the teams getting the players they feel they need to get closer to a championship. The only people who care about draft grades or value, are Kiper, beat writers, and people who know more about fantasy football than actual football. The only board that matters was the Jets, and since you have never seen their board, you have no idea if they got value.

Teams like Pats and Pitt, didn't have good draft because they got perceived "good value." They had good drafts becuase they got the players they felt would better their team and were able to translate that talent to play. What if Kiper gives you a C for a draft grade, you can't got to the SB the next year? It doesn't mean shit.

You way of thinking is the way Millen thinks. Drafting for perceived value instead of what the team needs. I don't care who is on the roster, or were they are taken in the draft as long as it translates into wins. I don't care if they have a roste full of punters, all of which they took in the first round, as long as they win.

The Jets had too many holes to trade the house for one player. Without a line, your QB gets hurt, your RB has no where to go, and the WRs are just standing around. Championship teams are built from the lines out. And the O-lIne (you can thank Edwards/Bradway for this) was shit and was the biggest need. As a Lions fan how having stars in the skill positions but no O-Line works.
