I might as well ask everyone here but......

Should I post a Winners and Losers of the 1st day after everyone picks. I dont know if anyone would be up for the negativity but Its something I can do with some free time at college.

Thanks WW85, those are the guys the Bills wanted. I think I got great value in Carlson.

Thoughts on my going with Steve Slaton over Kevin Smith for the Texans' RB? I felt Slaton was more elusive and a slightly better NFL prospct.

I give the edge to Slaton, but Smith is going to be an interesting player, can't wait to see how he does in the NFL.

I think I have filled the big needs of Philly and have gotten some really good value for where I picked. I was surprised Thomas was still there, I see him as more of a 2nd rounder...

    1. WR DeSean Jackson
    2. OT Carl Nicks
    3. CB Terrell Thomas

    Likin' it!

Now with Smith gone I can comment on Slaton vs Smith

I think Smith is better personally due to Slaton's size and the fact Slaton got to work with more in the O-Line compared to a Kevin Smith. Both guys didnt get tested much in competition but Smith outside of the bowl game carried UFC to the conference title in the MAC. Really happy to have landed him.

Both guys should contend for a round 2 selection though, couldent go wrong with either guy.

I forgot about that, my bad. Hope it didn't affect anyone's draft.

Anyway, I'm completely done. Only two picks for both my teams.

    Raiders:

    1. Darren McFadden, RB, Arkansas
    2. Mario Manningham, WR, Michigan

    Texans:

    1. Keith Rivers, OLB, USC
    3. Steve Slaton, RB, West Virginia

I'm pretty happy with both of my drafts.

The Texans had themselves a pretty nice day for themselves. Take into considering the 2nd round pick went to their franchise QB and you had a good draft for them.

Raiders would have had an epic draft just not too big on Super Mario, I thought Hardy would be a better fit in that Oakland offense. Cant argue Run DMC though, but maybe Mario explodes in the Bay Area.

Texans have had some great drafts(06,07, 08 if this were to happen). Rivers and Slaton could help them get a playoff push potentially.
