No Doubt.......RB is one of the strongest positions this year.

yeah, but my thinking is, that in a weak class, some guys wouldn?t be around, still. So the great talent in that group makes those guys drop even further than they should. I see them flying off the board instantly as soon as someone starts to pick one.

I agree Rivers was a big steal. I donno about Ellis though, that is right around where he was slated to go, so he wasn't really that big of a steal, although he was a solid pick. Rivers was supposed to go top 10-12 though, so great pickup, and the Texans defense is actually starting to look pretty solid. Nice job.

Also, I think DeSean Jackson will do great in Philly, and I was really happy he was still there, he is a perfect fit. Although it was kind of hard to decide between a WR and an OT there, as there are still a few good ones available.

I am a bit surprised by the Bucs pick, I thought for sure if Kelly was still there they would have taken him.

Guys, I'm going to be away for a little while...Getting something to eat and watch some Senior Bowl. Jabba(Cowboys) is still OTC.

Jabba is Over his 3 hours....I'm going to give him some more time, due to the Senior Bowl being on and how fast the first rd went, he probably didn't expect his Cowboy's to pick so soon.

Thanks WW, you're right, I'm shocked it went this far this fast

Sorry for the delay and it won't happen again, now I see how fast its moving so I'll be more aware

Anyway, I need to study the board, catch up, but the pick will be in shortly

    Outsider's thoughts:

    1. Wow, I'm impressed at how fast this draft is going.
    2. Most of the picks have been very good. Two I found a little bit questionable were Phillips to the Pats and Cherilus to the Bucs. With Phillips, the value is fine, but after drafting Merriweather in round 1 last year and the pending FAs of Samuel and Gay, I think Jenkins should be the pick. Tampa is in desperate need of some playmakers (their only one is an aging Galloway), Cherilus is a good RT prospect, but I would have pegged a WR or RB instead.
    3. I really liked the Derrick Harvey pick. Besides for it being a good value pick, Ellis is getting up there in years as well. Plus with the way there was a run of CBs, filling that area wasn't a real option.
    4. In general I was a little surprised at how quickly some of the corners flew off the board in the teens. That said, with the way the NFL has changed, I think you need 3 starting caliber CBs now.

Interesting choice with Harvey, Jabba, especially since they already have Ware and Ellis (who played very well last year), plus they took Spencer in round 1 last season.

With the two first rounders though, can't really blame you for going BPA.

They could have Meriweather play corner.

I'm more surprised by the Vikings pick, I though Derrick Harvey or a WR would have made more sense, but that's just me.

I am very impressed with the picks so far. I am anxiously awaiting my chance to pick, although I had a long time to wait (Packers and Colts are the teams I am picking for).

Sorry, I was gone for a while....It's difficult to be here all day.

Draft is going great, never thought we would get this close to finishing Rd 1 in 1 day.

Reminder, clock shuts off at Midnight and restarts at 10:00a.m.

I will be very surprised if Rambo takes anyone other than Malcolm Kelly for the Titans.

LOL easiest pick ever. I like him on the Titans. I'm still not sold on Ryan for the Falcs but no one else was there. I had Dorsey and McFadden ahead of him.
