Nah, I just don't think there are any super teams this year. There are multiple teams in each division that can beat each other up to rack up losses. There are a lot of bad teams and a lot of medicore teams. The better teams are all imho one maybe 2 injuries away from slipping out of the playoff picture.
I predict that the NFL will go .500 overall. Unlike every single poster in this thread who predicted season records for every team. (Yes, I went through and counted.) Don't worry, boys. The "experts" usually fuck this up too. Always good for a chuckle.
The Lions, Eagles, and Jacksonville will surprise people and made the playoffs. Washington will disappoint. Jets too I think I also think this is the year Buffalo finally makes the playoffs but only because they'll start out 5-1 or something and "back their way in" down the stretch. AFC: Division Winners New England Pittsburgh Jacksonville Kansas City Wild Card Buffalo (@9-7) Houston NFC: Division Winners Philly GB Carolina Seattle Wild Card Detroit Arizona Superbowl Seattle beats Kansas City
NFC: don't care AFC: kys The NFL begins and ends with the 'someone-shoot-me-in-the-fucking-head' Jets 2016 Jets: . Jets are a good team in obvious need of a QB. . 2016 will just be a case of too many tough teams one-after-another out of the box and with too many of them on the road, quickly putting them behind the 8-ball. If Buffalo, KC and Pitt were at home, they could easily have hit the softer part of the schedule at 3-3 and in a wildcard hunt. 1. Bengals: blown out last two times; being home only keeps it close 0-1 2. AT Buffalo: in Buffalo 0-2 3. AT Chiefs: same as above 0-3 4. Seahawks: fairly comparable D's; Russell Wilson's the difference 0-4 5. AT Steelers: at Pitt 0-5 6. AT Cardinals: teacher Arians at home vs. student Bowles; close, but no cigar 0-6 many winnable games from here on--best case scenario: could climb to an 8-8 finish. Question is, will the "already out of the playoffs/going-through-the-motions" malaise have set in by then. 7. Ravens 8. AT Browns 9, AT Dolphins 10. Rams 11. BYE 12. Patriots 13, Colts 14 AT 49'ers 15. AT Patriots 16. Bills Prediction: 6-10 or 5-11 2017 draft (with the 4th-8th pick): - Myles Garrett, OLB, Texas A&M - in a perfect world, several teams in front of them go 'QB' (Watson, Kaaya, Falk, Kelly, etc.); Garrett falls in their lap.. - Desmond King, CB, Iowa - depending on if Clady stays healthy and if so do Jets pick up the $13m (17m w / incentives) 2017 option. .
^ Finally somebody looking at it realistically and without the green tinted glasses on. ^ We can all hope for better but that looks pretty accurate to me.
With the injuries and suspensions Buffalo has to start the season I see them starting out 3-3 at best, possibly 2-4. They lose the 1st 4 and win at LA and San Fran at home. Maybe they beat the P*ts to make it 3-3. They go 5-5 the rest of the way and finish 7-9 extending the streak, no playoffs for the Bills.
I know I posted on page 1, but after the Romo, and Bridgewater injuries I'm re-doing it. Tough AFC East 1. Patriots 11-5 2. Jets 8-8 3. Bills 6-10 4. Dolphins 5-11 AFC North 1. Steelers 11-5 2. Bump. How did everyone do? I proudly got the first two in the draft order correct. That surprised me. My top 3 AFC seeds are the 3 AFC teams still alive with a chance. Predicted KC vs Pitt too.. I'm most excited that my AFC/NFC title games are still possible, along with SB pick obviously.
I was pretty damn close with my prediction but then again, predicting the Bills won't make the playoffs is pretty easy.
wow - nice calls, very nice......... my own not so bad either....... "Are u serious?? Come on with our schedule. Pencil me in for 6-10 because of the schedule AND we cannot expect duplicate numbers from the QB position" #6 jilozzo, Aug 26, 2016
