It was Todd Bowles birthday yesterday. It probably wasn't very happy, but my advice is live every day as if it's your last. As a HC. I really wanted this to work out. I always want it to work out. Oh, well, The Myth of Sisyphus continues.
The Johnson brothers had to be the 2 stupidest kids in Prep School.. They have been strangely silent throughout this recent debacle letting paid hacks like Mehta do their broadcasting for them because they dont have the guts to admit how wrong they were hiring and then re upping the 2 bozos in the Jets Control room to the fans/press Nagle..they are totally incompetent ..cant even figure out who or what to replace Toilet with now or at end of Season..one their neighbors or wives will send them email with a list of coaching candidates And for now? 6 more weeks of humiliation and torture and they couldn't care less
I have to take umbrage with the title here. Bowles is a goner and it’s been bad football but it’s hardly been a circus. We do a disservice to the times we have been a circus by using the label every time we are unhappy with the performance. The same way we have been watering down the term bust.
Wait till Sunday because we all know how this coach gets his team ready to play after the bye... NE has had two weeks to get ready and its probably going to be like the bills game... esp. if Sam is not playing.
You have to take umbrage. This is getting good. I rue the day my Daddy made me a Jets fan. Well, he should've rued it, but apparently somehow he didn't. He just shoved a knish in my mouth on the death march from Shea as we walked the plank to our brown-paneled Ford station wagon after a game. Good times. Well, in all honesty they were very good times in a twisted way, frost bite on my toes excluded when OJ the murderer broke the 2,000 yard rushing record. Only the Jets.
Bowels does not amuse me, not one tiny bit so I would have to say that Bowels is not a Clown ,,,,,,BUT if you are one of those people that is deathly afraid of clowns and are living with that fear each day and especially on Sundays , then I can relate.
no, that's bad football. rex/ idzic was a circus. rex continuing to talk shit when the team sucked was a circus. mangini refusing to even elaborate on which knee vilma injured was a circus. the end of herm was a circus. this is just plain old boring bad football. no strife, no conflict no controversy. just a bad coach coaching a bad team
putting your rookie QB in a boot because you are too gutless to bench him - - is a circus. without question
