I respect your opinion and your courage for putting this up, but change is needed. It’s not just with Jets though, look at Denver and Cardinals, they are not giving their coaches 4 years or 5 years for that matter. Go after Harbaugh, McCarthy or a young Offensive minded coach like Mcveigh. Jets gave Bowles plenty of time and probably were going to fire him 2 years ago but he chose to sacrifice his staff with exception of Rodgers. I want Jets to take a chance with an offensive minded schlubb this time.

Bowles 100% needs to be fired However, from his perspective it does seem like a little bit of a shaft job. Going into the season the narrative was that this season wasn’t about wins and losses but rather about developing Darnold. I, for one, said I would be satisfied if the team went 7-9 and Sam played well in December. Well, Darnold’s performance has skyrocketed here at the end of the season. Technically Bowles could point to that. However, the late game collapses and defensive shit shows are too much to overlook for me. He has to go even if the primary goal for the season was met. The way we’ve lost 11 games is more important than the fact that we’ve lost 11 games.
