How is Duke Robinson still there? I thought NE would snag him.

I think we have had a good draft but we need to learn to work the compensatory picks like the Pats do. That allows them to move back and forth with a lot of security.

Wonder if the pats go QB next pick? Rhett Bhomar maybe to sit behind Brady for 2-3 years

I want to hear your take on why we shouldn't have taken Sanchez and Greene, I can use a good laugh.

Did we trade away our 7th round pick? I saw on ESPN that we only have a 6th round pick yet.

Kevin O'Connell is doing that. He's very talented.

Dolphins also having a nice draft. Turner is pretty good. Didn't expect him to go until the 6th round though

You are correct sir, just the 6th left. Combo that with Thomas Jones and ship him on over to Cleveland for Edwards ;)

Turner is a bit of an underachiever. He is a ND killer though so he will in all likelihood be a Jet killer to piss me off.

He is like Jarrett pretty much except he isnt as crazy off the field.

"We are going to give the Oakland Raiders draft some love...."

NFL Network is about to become a comedy show.

    Here goes.
Last year we were 9-7, and could've easily had 2 or 3 more wins. With only Brett Favre and Laveraneus Coles, really, leaving, and an influx of incredibly talented defensive players, namely, Bart Scott, Jim Leonhard, and Lito Sheppard, to expect the same wouldn't be a stretch, even with a more difficult schedule. I didn't see this year as a rebuilding year, I saw it as a chance to pick up players at positions of need, to fill holes, and build a playoff team in 2009.

By trading our first two picks and Kenyon Coleman for Sanchez, it virtually assured that we wouldn't be able to take an impact WR in this draft. Furthermore, it created a hole, at DE, where there wasn't one before. But that would be okay if we took Jarron Gilbert, because he is a physical specimen, and a true 3-4 DE.

Once we traded up, I was sure it was for Gilbert. When I heard Shonn Greene's name called, I just didn't get it. He's a 3rd string running back on this team, and good though he may be, I didn't see RB as a strong need. When it was announced just how much we gave up, well, it's obvious we're not addressing anything else with this draft.

We took a win now team, I feel, and made it into a .500 team that needs to pick up more pieces. I feel there have been more questions raised than answered with this draft, and I wonder why we haven't addressed our two biggest positions of need?
