Since Mantana is not playing after this year his spot will be open after the year is finished unless a 2nd would drop out as I would rather have a 14 team league than a 16 team league with 2 teams with rotating owners. Of course this will be up for debate but a 14 team league makes scheduling and tiebreaking easier as everyone will play everyone else once unlike in a 16 team league. Just some thoughts for next year as we review our current system and move forward. BTW - a 15 team league is possible too but that would involve 8 divisional games(4/4) and playing just 1 other division(5) also the only division that would split up would be the one that Iscrap(Mantana's) is from.(Todd division)
I did it as you posted that. I've put out full rosters every week, i've just tended up update on fri/sat
ok I'm sorry then, I wasn't sure if you were going to keep it up after the bye weeks. BTW - Did you see the trade offer?
Mean Machine is going to win. Evil Monkeys trailing by 11 with only Watson left vs. Thorton Wombats are trailing by 25 with Cutler, Graham, & Whinter vs. Crowell.
Two more days until the trade deadline and I am throwing open my entire team except Stephen Jackson. That includes Steve Smith and Chad Johnson if you need WR help and Eli at QB.
Evil Monkeys lose, Wombats have a .5 lead remind you this can change at any moment so don't think you're 5-6 yet. Adjustments will be done again on Tomorrow & Saturday(that's what ESPN says) so your record might change because of the narrow margin of victory.
Early Standings - Subject to change(Wombats game and resulting ties in the Testaverde division) * - Clinched playoff spot *1. MSUJet 9-2 *2. Renegades 8-3 3. Mile High 8-3 4. Wicked Wombats 5-6 *5. Red Rovers 9-2 6. Juggernauts 6-5 ________________ 7. Mean Machine 6-5 8. Shadow Knights 5-6 9. Evil Monkeys 5-6 10. Hellcats 5-6 11. Mighty Ones 5-6 12. nyj unc 4-7 - out due to loses to Juggernauts & Mean Machine 13. Pimps 4-7 - out due to loss to Juggernauts 14. Down Under 4-7 - defeated Juggernauts, Evil Monkeys, & Mighty Ones, lost to Hellcats, & have yet to play Mean Machine & Shadow Knights so they are alive but with a very slim chance maybe 1-5% chance(have to win out plus loses but are knocked out with loss or Juggernauts win or Hellcats win) Clinching Scenarios(where points can't decide a winner): Renegades clinches division title with win or Juggernauts loss Mile High clinches division title with win or Mean Machine loss, playoff spot with Juggernauts loss or Renegades win If MO wins after adjustment then they clinch division with win or Hellcats loss If WW wins after score adjustment winner of WW/Hellcats can clinch division with win and MO loss. Juggernauts clinch playoff spot with win and Mean Machine & Hellcats loss(has points lead due to no H2H) Tiebreakers for scenarios Renegades defeated both Mile High and Mean Machine(so Renegades can't finish 7th) Mile High defeated Juggernauts -common sense says Renegades is in but Mile High isn't if points is ahead of H2H in tiebreakers Juggernauts defeated Mean Machine If WW holds on(Wombast & Hellcats tied 1-0 in division with Wombats leading in points, MO is 0-1) If MO wins after score adjustment then MO is 1st(6-5) followed by Hellcats(5-6) then Wombats(4-7) Notes - Renegades/Juggernauts and Mile High/Mean Machine don't take place till week 13. MSU and Red Rovers can't clinch the division this week because their game in week 13 will determine the winner of the division no matter what happens this week. Things might change Saturday so this isn't written in stone yet, if ESPN goes to points ahead of H2H I will change it to the H2H style so the proper teams will get in as it is only fair. Note - ESPN has Mighty Ones in first due to the points tiebreaker but for H2H it is the Wombats who are in first.
That was a big win for me, especially being behind after Sunday's play and facing Terrell Owens who put up 51 points on his own!
