You read the rules, times are in the rules. You got my PM from this morning. One more missed pick and you're out. Hope you will make the rest of your picks.

Scikotics.....you know I've always repected and appreciate all you do for TGG. I wish you wouldn't drop out, but I understand.

I have to take a hard ass approach now, if that doesn't work....I'll just scrap this draft and someone else can take over.

WW the timing sucked ass. It's not like I wasn't here all day yesterday trying to help out, but the night to morning thing sucks. I thought I had until 12. I will not miss another pick, next time I'll just make my pick when I get back at like 2 or 3 in the morning...not a problem.

People need to realize when you join these mock drafts, its not only about "YOU", its also about 31 other GM's and its important to be considerate of them as well as WW85 who really goes out of his way to make this thing work

For example, last nite I had my fantasy baseball draft and I knew it would take no more than an hour, but in this mock draft I had the very next pick, so I could have said "no problem, if I go OTC I'll make it back before my time expires", but instead I said there are a lot of other people waiting to make their picks, so let me just PM WW85 my short list so he can submit my pick as soon as the Jets Go OTC and then the others won't need to wait for me to get back from my fantasy baseball draft and this mock won't come to a standstill

Its all about realizing this is about a lot of people, not just you, and trying to be considerate of that (and WW85)

Let the hate begin haha. Even though Bey has his flaws and all, Bey to the Giants just makes too much sense. To get him where he is at is nice as I dont think he'd fall past the Bears.

Giants need a wideout, I figured Britt would be the pick. Frankly, I think a big wideout is a bigger need than a speed demon, so I wouldn't be surprised to see a different one selected there.

I was in a similar situation with the Ravens - Baltimore already has too smallish wideouts in Derrick Mason and Mark Clayton. I had to take Kenny Britt...he gives them a legitimate possession receiver that make things happen after the catch.

I thought about taking a tight end, but the Ravens just signed LJ Smith to compliment the often injured Todd Heap.

I had to get Joe Flacco another target.

    Britt is a Raven.

Bey is both a speedster and a tall target, thats what is good about him. All he has to do is develop better run routes and outside of that, I think he'd be a huge asset to Eli. Its all up to Kevin Killdrive(Gilbride) to use Bey to his proper use.

    Everyone knows Heyward-Bey is a speedster...but for a guy that's 6'2, he plays like's he's 5'8.

My biggest knock on Heyward-Bey is his lack of physicality.

This pick makes sense though: Plaxico Burress will most likely be suspended, but the Giants will probably keep him. Steve Smith is their other wideout...he's clearly a possession receiver. As long as Burress is a Giant, Heyward-Bey could become a nice compliment. Burress is their tall, possession guy and Heyward-Bey can be the speedster that they lack.

I just don't know if DHB will pan out.

But if there is a team that can afford to take a risk here, it is the Giants. Frankly, I'm shocked they didn't sign a WR, because it was blatantly obvious how the offense became stagnant without Burress flanked out.

But they still have an elite defense (even better with Osi coming back, christ), I assume Kiawanuka will be moving back to LB so the weakness there isn't too terrible, and a fine secondary. The pick is going to be WR, or maybe LB, but DHB isn't a bad pick by any means. Still, I'd think they'd try and get a more NFL-ready product, even if his upside isn't so high. They've had a couple phenomenal drafts, so I won't doubt them this year.

James Hasty was online for about 15 minutes...why didn't he make his selection?

I'll be around the computer all day today and tomorrow if you need someone to take over a team for a no-show or otherwise help out in any other way.
