Don't bet the mortgage, MC

I'm a big BAP-Man and I'll usually take the best value within reason, so it all depends on who's slides to 17

Just because I love someone, I won't leave much better value on the board if its there

This was such a hard pick. I wanted Monroe for the Rams so badly, but since he was gone and Curry was the best player on my board, I ultimately had to go with him. The Rams do have a need at SOLB, where Curry will be playing, so it isn't a random pick or anything. Luxury? Maybe, but adding Curry to their defensive unit could help them a lot - A lot more than I see other OTs helping them, but that's just me, because I had Monroe as my #1 OT.

I like Curry, maybe the defense in St Louis will start to take the stage, maybe a changing of the guard, even with the choice of Monroe and Curry I would have went Curry

I like the Curry pick too and its something I can see Spags doing as he needs a leader for that defense.

But man that leaves KC in quite a pickle.

Guys....I'm here all weekend, PM me your draftboard if you need to leave. I appreciate it, one missed pick slows the whole process.

Disappointed so far............. A GM has the third pick and is no where to be found.

I won't tolerate missed picks. If it continues, GMs will be removed.

I put too much time and effort into this mock and don't want it to be ruined by a few.

Baker....of course, I totally agree my friend. ISP could go down too.

I give everyone plenty of notice, overkills with PM's and alerts.....and the turnout of GMs with the Top 5 or 6 picks has been awful.

Also, I urge people to PM their draftboard to me, and only about 3 or 4 GMs ever do.

Could always make the pick for him ... pick a deadline (say noon). Then have a quick vote of the best 3 or 4 players on the board etc.

Deadline is Noon, 3 hour limit.

I usually don't have the pick by commitee.....found it's not the best way to go. A GM not within 5 picks can make the selection.

    Appreciate your comments...thx.

I'll step up and make the pick at noon if he doesn't show up. If no one else has called it, of course.

Obviously, Curry was where I wanted to go, and with him off the board it was a tough decision. Since the Chiefs aren't in the market for a QB or a LT, the next player on my board who fit a need was Orakpo.

10 total sacks last season from KC makes getting the best pass rusher in the draft a good consolation prize for missing out on Curry IMO. He should help to turn that number around, although he'll probably need to learn how to drop into coverage in KC's new defense.

    EDIT: ^Anytime, WW
