If he knocked it down he would've deserved it more for showing game awareness...but then wouldn't have gotten the award most likely...Go figure o_O

I think it's a little early to say he hasn't. since his 1st draft was just 2 years ago (those players are in year 3) adams and maye look like studs already, maguire looks to be a sleeper, williams is a stud, stewart made some plays already, burris is looking good, shell a 5th rounder is looking good at RT, lac is doing a great job punting, burris has been up and down but showed some flashes he could be a starter someday, he also got anderson as an UDFA who is becoming one of the best deep threats in the NFL. that's not bad at all in 3 drafts

Still need that signature draft where you call pull in maybe 2 or 3 big time talents that can contribute going forward at the critical positions. Burris is losing reps and Shell is awful at RT in terms of run blocking and average at best at pass protection.

That's not nearly enough to contend. Look at the Raiders 2014 draft, or the Cowboys draft last year. That's a signature draft.

the pats, seahawks, panthers, steelers, etc haven't had one of those in over a decade. he's had 3 drafts. and those are all elite teams. You need to look how he does compared to the other 32 teams, not with your own idea of what it should be

I encourage you to do some research on these teams draft histories the last decade. Did you just decide to type without doing any research or any informative facts? I don't even need to look up online to know those teams all had signature drafts.

Steelers - 2010 and on they have had solid drafts and pulled in multiple pro bowl players. They are pulling in 2 or 3 GOOD starters each draft. The Jets have not done this. Rebuilt their linebacking corps, offensive line, receiving and running game.

Pats - they don't need a signature draft, they have the greatest coaching in NFL history. Belichick was never a great drafter.

Seahawks - C'mon dude you seriously can't be serious putting them on this list? Legion of Boom was drafted in about 1 or 2 drafts. Include Wilson and Baldwin on that list. Scratch them off.

Panthers, they aren't a good team but have drafted better then the Jets. They let some players go and have done an awful job of replacing them. Downward trend since the SB.

you better stop trying to pull these non-logical arguments out of your ass. I notice you do this a lot.

It's looking like Maccagnan had an awesome offseason not with just the draft but also with the player's he let go.

He drafted centerfield for the next 10 years. Two very late picks are project CBs. His 6th round pick of McGuire is looking pretty good. Donahue needs time to develop, but has shown promise. Leggett has yet to play, but he can develop. ArDarius Stewart has made some nice catches. Hansen fits Morton's scheme. It's way too early to say that this was a great draft, but it's looking good at the moment. The longer the season goes on, the better I feel about the draft.

steelers - that was 7 years ago. how have their last 3 drafts panned out (the same time mac has been drafting) jessie james is a decent TE their 2 CBs drafted last year are starting but getting torched nothing else of note

pats - exactly. they've ridden the brady belly combo for over a decade but they haven't drafted well at all

seahawks - that was many years ago your judging mac on 3 drafts. hawks have picked 28 players in the last 3 years and none of them stand out as anything.

panthers - drafted better then the jets? again last 3 years nothing of note

you also didn't address the other teams. You have tunnel vision

    You said a decade ago.

2015 was still a very solid draft. So was 2014 which was 3 years ago. Steelers still drafting better then the Jets and they ALWAYS have. SEATTLE STILL HAD A SIGNATURE DRAFT IN THE LAST DECADE, your response is incorrect.

So, you didn't say anything of any value in this post. My point still remains the same. I don't have tunnel vision, I think it's moreso the fact that you are performing fellatio on Mac ;)

I don't need to address every team in the league, that's your job to actually do some research.

I was being facetious but the fact you had to go back 8 years on one team out of the 6 i listed kinda proves my point

not really, those franchises still drafted far better then the Jets. Did they or did they not have a signature draft within the last decade? A signature draft that set them up for that very decade.

the only point you proved is you don't know what a decade is.

Same to you. Wait until the chickens from the 2017 draft hatch before you call for a better draft by Macc.

That's fine, I am judging him by his other drafts not 2017.

yes they did in the last decade at least 1 of them. they haven't in the past 3 years though. each class is different some classes just suck. i'll tell you what in 7 more years if mac doesn't get a "flagship draft" then i'll switch to your side and say he should be fired
