1.2 million dollars, 4th round pick, 6th round pick and a circus that would revolve around this team is what it would cost us. IMO, thats not worth it, but hey, thats just my opinion. I guess Im just a joke because I disagree with you here, oh well.
I'm not sure what the problem is unless it effects this year's cap. The Jets would pay Denver the 5 million but then not pay Tebow that five million. So it's not costing them anything and I would think that money counts against Denver's cap and not the Jets as they were the ones who paid it to him.
When asked who's at fault over this contract issue, Polian just said on NFL Live that it's not really anybody's fault. He said it's very common to have issues between the teams, but it's up to the Jets to know what they acquiring.
AdamSchefter Adam Schefter More craziness filed to ESPN: Jaguars are back in the mix, seeing if they now can pull off a trade with Denver for Tim Tebow.
Every offseason it seems like there's some dramatic roller coaster for the Jets fans with a million false reports that say it is happening, it isn't, it is, it isn't. Nnamdi, the Revis holdout, Favre, etc. Crazy.

Ok, I am onboard with firing Tannenshit today if this falls apart and he gets traded anywhere else...not because I care about Tebow but because we can't continue to be the lauging stock of sports with this fuckin moron making the decisions.
Yea, ok, we'll have tanny be our contract writer and hire some one else to be our contract reader. Really?
So Tebow's had the money, which means that all the Jets are doing is refunding Denver rather than pay it to Tim. So what's the problem?
yes i have seen tebow score his first nfl td against the jets and also last year, what was that outcome. hope the deal goes through.
He's a good football player. Not getting why some of you wussies are too afraid to embrace Tebow Time. Brad Smith X 10
I couldn't care either way if this goes through but once again we are the laughing stock of the league. Jets tweeted trade out before even reading the contract is basically the outsiders view. Lots of Jets better give Sanchez another extension if this falls through type stuff. We are way to concerned with making headlines. Every time we are involved in something it leaks out. We can never do anything without anyone knowing. I don't know where to point the blame. I guess Woody, Tanny, and Rec have to share it.
The Jets organization has to be aware of the backlash from fans so far. ESPN is playing clips from Jets callers on the radio. They are killing the trade. Every caller on Fatty's show is killing the trade. Nearly every talking head on TV is trashing the deal. They have an out now with this contract issue. TAKE THE OUT AND WALK AWAY!!!
