When the fans and media are booing a young QB in Sanchez and chanting or writing some cute headline calling for Tebow, that's not irrelevent. That's going to impact most guys, they aren't robots, they are human. You will also have teammates who believe in Tebow and those who believe in Sanchez. I'm guessing more will be in the Tebow camp, personally. You are underestimating how immensely popular Tebow is with his teammates. They LOVE him and he'll no doubt have guys in his corner.
amazing number of haters here. Seriously the most hatred for a 4th round pick! Come on guys, let's keep this in perspective. The team's already got a ton of attention on them and they're used to controversy.
at 1mil for the year, the only downside was signing Drew Stanton first. (Except that puts a barrier between Tebow and Sanchez, something already overlooked on this thread...) you're getting a tremendous athlete, a guy who has, to his credit done nothing but win, and can take the wildcat places where Ronnie Brown and Brad Smith couldn't. Take that to the next step....If you have ANY success with it, you;re forcing defensive staffs to gameplan for it more. This is Brad Smith of the 8000 college yards, and no Pro Starts, this is a guy that took over a 1-4 team NFL and got them to the playoffs. He's also not a locker room problem, he's going to come in, do what he's asked and work hard at it. If we're worried about a bunch of morons calling Fatcessa looking for Tebow to start, where do you think that'll go? We couldnt get rid of Schottenheimer for 6 dang years...
Yep, and he ran the Wildcat (Seminole), too. Wouldn't surprise me a bit to see Tim Tebow have a very similar role, except with a better arm.
I'm so jealous. You guys have the most funnest team. Without even playng football! Tell me anyone here knows what going to happen next season. Get yer Popcorn ready...
Tebow: Talent? Try tackling him, he's got a 5.4 YPC. Depth? Pretty good #3 QB, if you ask me. Plan? Use him in the freaking wildcat. Is this really that hard to understand?
The Pats did a pretty good job of tackling him, eh? Ellis anyone? #3 QB's cannot play if they are designated as such. The Wildcat is so 3 years ago.
I imagine the right wing nuts are thrilled about this trade, as it opens up the possibility of a Christian white guy taking a Mexican's jorb.
2007....2011....2012... 45 wins...6 losses...nothing to show for it You guys can be entertaining too... What's Giselle got planned for the offense this year?
I dont think any of the ten commandments mention anything about using profanity. I bet that Jesus said 'motherfucking' at least 3 times every sentence

Well it's still better then 2, (that's 2!) AFC championships in a row. On a serious note, I think Tebow could be an interesting HB type but we'll see what happens. But still, admit it, this has the possibility to go oh so wrong for the Jets in so many ways..
You're going to have a fun time arguing this with the influx of people with late March registration dates and Tebow avatars who are constantly posting about Tebow being the full time starter.
Tebow steps up against pressure. 95 yard drive against the Jets. Taking it to the Steelers when no one thought he could it. Why wouldn't you want some of that heart and spirit and leadership on the team? Sanchez crumbled last year under pressure. He needed a drive against the Giants at the end of the game and he felt ass backwards in the end zone for a safety. Couldn't even beat Miami when it was all on the line. Maybe Tebow and Sanchez can make each other better. Sanchez can manage the game in quarters 1-3, but in a pinch, in the 4th quarter... it's Tebow Time!
