Would Brad Smith be worth a 4 and a 6? Tebow will be great running the wildcat. I can only see good things happening with this move. Now of course he sucks as a regular under center QB, but as a running QB ith an occasional pass thrown in. Tebow will do great in his limited roll. Lam
I have a feeling the NFL is about to see a whole new type of offense like they've never seen before. Its gonna be crazy...
Welcome to the board of in the box thinking. Don't ever look outside the box. This is not a message forum, but a cult of one way of thinking. You will get used to it. Pssst, this is sarcasm for those that can't tell.
Please explain how this new type of offense will be run. Seriously. What different can Tebow bring to this Jets offense besides the Wildcat under Sparano which the league is already familiar with?
No shot it will be the worst when you consider some of the assholes they wasted 1st rd picks on thriugh the years.
Again, I ask: How did the Jets do wrong in getting a fully capable back-up QB who can run the Wildcat for 1.1M?
I like how people are comparing him to Brad Smith like half of the stadium was ever calling for Brad Smith to be a full time QB like it will be with Tebow.
I think Woody understands exactly what he has done here and it has little to do with the Jets..or at least not entirely to do with the Jets.
You mean like how half the stadium was calling for Kellen Clemens to take over for Chad in 2007? Yeah, I was sitting behind a row of those assholes the whole season...
Eh. Brad Smith was also a special teams ace (tackling and kick returning) plus chipped in catching the ball for 300+ receiving yards. Can Tebow duplicate that?
And those guys never bought billboards for Clemens like the Tebow fans have done in the past and will do again.
because the argument people are trying to make is that competition is required to push you towards greatness, not that it can do so if you aren't self driven. they are claiming that Sanchez hasn't excelled because he hasn't worked hard enough due to a lack of competition. that is completely made up and nobody claiming such has anything tangible to base that on. if competition was so dire, every great QB in history would haven't have been as successful if they were not driven by competition by another player. so, Manning is a perfect example because who was the great QB that drove him to succeed out of fear of losing his job? what about Joe Montana? the list goes on and on. you don't need competition from another player to be great if you are self-motivated and have a personal competitive desire to succeed.
It's a win win. Sanchez is under a gun to perform like never before now. We have our wildcat from the days of brad smith back at the very least. At the worst Sanchez Crumbles and Tebow takes over.
