and what is going to occur when sanchez gets hurt? we will be in as bad of shape as we would have been last year... stanton at least would be asked to run the offense. i think they have determined already that their backup qb... yes their backup qb will not be running the offense but instead some satellite i have heard it called or unique scheme... scary stuff if you ask me.

There are a ton of teams that have that same problem so I don't concern myself with what if a guy gets hurt. What if Brees gets hurt? How about Eli? What do the Broncos do if Manning gets hurt? If Sanchez gets hurt your forced to cater the offense to Tebow. In 3 years Sanchez has shown to be a durable QB. How many games has he missed? 1 out of about 40? I'll take my chances. Just like half the teams in the league if our starting QB gets hurt we're screwed.

I have been a member at the Denver boards for years and the hardcore tebow hater crowd was just as blind and delusional as the Tebow maniacs . It was two sides of the exact same coin. The truth is in the middle , Tebow is not the greatest QB that has ever lived and he certainly does not suck . We need a catchy name for he middle group , maybe a " Tebow independent" ?
but we HAD a guy who could at least come in and run the offense. he wasnt great, and as much as everyone is hating on him now he was a viable backup qb. tebow, as much as i love what he brings to the team is not what i would want as a backup qb. number 3 who comes in and does what you described him to do is one thing. to cement him into the number 2 role is a little scary.
Not if there's no receiver deep. And even if somebody is going deep not if somebody on the line has let his man blow right past him as often as that happened on the Jets last season. Tebow wouldn't have looked great on long passes last season with Plaxico Burress as the guy trying to get deep.
so if the blocking scheme is better and tony s dials up some deep routes and the defense has to respect the run then we maybe able to get a few shots down field.doesn't sound like that should be so difficult.
