Tebow throws a better long ball than Sanchez does. Neither can throw it short or midrange.

Yes, but were their passes ugly, inaccurate, weak, and into double coverage? I would have to say, no, they weren't.

You're right. Wrong Sullivan.. Perhaps we could coax the Temptations or the Rolling Stones out of retirement to pitch this trade..

of course it acknowledges that there is a part of the game Sanchez can't do -- run the stupid wildcat, which nobody expects him to do to begin with.

Disagree. INT's are not completely dependent on the QB.

Example 1. QB drops back to pass, makes the correct read, and throws a perfect pass. Receiver slips and the safety picks off the ball. How is that entirely on the QB? I say NONE of it is on the QB except he gets stuck with the int stat.

Example 2. QB makes a horrible read, does not see the LB and throws the ball right to him. LB bobbles and drops the ball. All that becomes is an incomplete pass.

Do you not see this? You cannot look at a QB's stat line from a game and determine if his 3 INT's were his fault, his receiver's fault, or just a flat out great plays by the DBs. You also can't tell if he threw 3 "shoulda been picks" either.

All of them? Seriously? All of them?

Sure, some of the passes thrown by Kilmer and Kosar were bad. Hell, both of them threw at least one incompletion and interception over the course of their careers.

Maybe this was a very strategic move to get Holmes and Sanchez to bond. If he don't work it out with Sanchez, Tebow will be his QB. That just might be the magic formula for him and Sanchez.

By all means, go find Junc and see what he can do. From where I sit, Whichfan is schooling everyone that steps up to the plate.

    bicketybam,

The stat isn't 100% of course, but it's the truest indicator. While the scenarios you mentioned will happen, such things will be a very small minority, to the point that they are almost outliers.

Face it, neither clown will win a Super Bowl...

But Sanchez gives you a better chance...A much better chance.

That is very subjective. I think we can both agree that both clowns wont win a super bowl and this team needs to get a real quarterback.

Holmes should visit a witch doctor and ask for some advice on how to catch balls thrown to his feet.
