Oh like Sanchez's 55% completion rate is so much better? Both suck not sure who sucks more, problem is Tebow only had 1 year to prove himself while Sanchez had 3. Also Tebow rushed for 660 yards in 14 games for over 5 yards(thats almost as much as Sanchez's Ypa) a carry so I would still take Tebow over sanchez if I had to choose. No way does Tebow get sacked 36 times like Sanchez.
Thats the point they both suck, so Jets fans compare Sanchez to mediocrity just to keep telling themselves hes any good just like they compare his shitty #'s to prior shitty #'s and say hes making progress.
who do you want as the jets' qb and at what cost to the franchise would you be willing to make it happen?
Manning=money Matt Flynn=Money jason campbell=money thats 3 better options then Sanchez and all it will cost is money
love the logic in this thread: Tebow couldn't beat the patriots, therefore Sanchez will win us a super bowl. smh.
No, you invented that argument actually to help belittle the opinion that Sanchez is or will be a good QB. No where in this thread or in the original post does it state what you have mentioned. Nice try, though.
Lets be realistic, if that was the Jets yesterday, Sanchez would have looked just as bad. Sanchez did enough in 4 playoff games when the defense and running game played great. Against Indy, when Greene got hurt, and Sanchez was asked to win it, he sucked dick instead. When, after he fumbled for 6, and the defense played poorly against Pitt, he could not win the game. So, Sanchez is just as good as Tebow, which is not very good.
We get it, you like to cherry pick the bad moments of Sanchez's career. You ask everyone to be realistic and then you present the most skewed argument against Sanchez. I am probably one of the biggest Sanchez homers that there is and even I can admit that the guy was a miserable QB this year. The guy was a walking mess on a team that was just as bad a mess. You can't even budge to give credit where credit is due. That's is really unfortunate for argument and conversation sake.
What are the good moments of his career in the playoffs, which this thread is seemingly about? I am curious. What game did he carry the team to victory in? Was it Cincy? Was it San Diego? Was it Indy? Was it NE? He had good 4th quarter comebacks the last 2 years, and made some big plays. But, what is this playoff moment that I am missing?
100 yards passing vs Cinci baby, if it wasn't for him wed obviously lose the game. Definately Brady like.
NE easily, SD and INDY we don't win without him. We probably should have won earlier at Indy but Tone dropped that 3rd and 5 pass. He played average in Cincy. We have seen this year, it is very hard to win on the road. The Giants finally did it requiring 3 fumbles and 8 drops from the other team.
which is it?? Sanchez Suck and Tebow sucks after you spend multiple posts trying to contrast these two Quarter backs only to finally end up saying they both suck? You should be banned for Schizophrenia!
Your kidding about SD and Indy right? Greene made Sanchez, thankfully, a non-factor against SD. And, against Indy, it was all about defense and the running game. NE was also about the defense. If NE scored 24+, the Jets were not winning the game. It just shows that if Sanchez is here, God forbid, the Jets better stack the defense and offensive line. Get 2 guys that can fucking rape Gronk and Hernandez at the line, double Welker and tell Brady to go fuck himself. If you need Sanchez to beat the Pats in a shootout, there is a much better chance of me being named the King of the Intergalactic Universe...
You do realize that you are complaining about a rookie and 2nd year QB winning playoff games, right? The one with a 92.7 QB rating in 2009 and a 95.5 QB rating in 2010. The one who threw 3 td's against NE, in NE. The kid who has thrown 9 TD's in his playoff career vs. 3 int's. That is what you are complaining about.
#'s could be deceiving look at tebows postseason stats 90.7 rating 2 td's 0 interceptions 452 yards 9.62 avg. And Sanchez never threw for more then 200 yards in any wins so why only nitpick the good? Oh ya would you call the last 3 games of this season must win games that resemble the playoffs? How did he do then huh? If he sucks in the regular season we wont get to the postseason. So what do you suggest? Let him suck the whole regular season and hope we get top 5 play from our oline, defense, running game and hope we make the playoffs so Sanchez shows up? I guess regular season games are meaningless huh?
