Wasn't aware of that stat. One of the INT's literally fell into his hands. While he did show flashes of playing a good CB, he also continued to make some glaring errors. I admit I didn't like the pick, or him, coming in tho . There was no way I would've said that he turned it around from those last four games, but I became more hopeful. Then on top of it Rex said he came into camp out of shape the next year.. He has missed a tremendous amount of time on the practice field too. Now he has to start from behind yet again with the achilles. He has always been behind since day 1 I'm hopeful for him, and McDougle, but not expecting anything going into the season while they try to get back to speed. Mac and TB are obviously not waiting around or counting on them right off the bat. I'm betting that the "other teams" are seeing if they could get him on the cheap.
We had 6 ints all of last season. We couldn't even catch the ones that did fall into our lap last season so like it or not Milliner is a step up from anyone we trotted out there last year.
Coverage and Assignments can be taught,. Ballhawking is a little bit tougher.. I'll give him a break on the coverage if he can bring a couple back for us while he's learning. He was still a rookie in the timeframe we're talking about.
That goes without saying. That was insanity last year. It was absurd what Idzik left out there. It also didn't do Antonio Allen any good moving him after he was a project at Safety to begin with and showed a lot of promise there They have a whole new backfield now and Milliner better get to work
There is also a $1,897,000 signing bonus and his next 2 years are guaranteed. So you're right he ain't going anywhere.
