Yeah that is true, this is a new regime though - patience is def needed. We are a young FO / young CS. We got a lot of work to do. Hell, maybe we should throw some Winston rumors out there try and get him to drop haha. As long as we are doing the right thing, I have patience, but when you start pulling that Idzik BS then my patience wears thin IMO.
Funny it was for a highly regarded Spread QB. Sound familiar? I'm not worried about the Eagles, let Chip Kelly trade the farm for the QB, I am not getting into a bidding war with Chip Kelly.
I agree in not worried about the Eagles either. I don't believe they can get into top 4. I am slightly worried about the Rams and Browns though, worried enough to go up to 3 to ensure we get our guy.
Yeah, I just don't value Mariota as highly as you guys. Not worth the trade up IMO. He's got a great attitude. A lot of good players in this draft.

Ok. Then how are we supposed to win games? With Geno? I am sure he will "be ready" sometime within the century. Geno never had anything to "recover from". He is plain old bad. We won't win without a QB. The new management will get the best free agent available.
No time to quibble over how good or bad things are. I have no desire to wait 3 seasons for an auspicious draft class. As Falco said you take the risk. It's the best of time and the worst of times. We will not win without a QB. The other positions people put energy into IMO are not important. Predict this management finds someone who is decent but a big improvement over Smith.
