The future is not now if we are rebuilding you don't mortgage our future

What if we trade up for mariota but he turns out to be more like rg3?

We have been rebuilding since what 1968!!!!!??????. That's all I hear is GG members spewing Idzikisms. Look where that got us. Sorry for the sarcasm. I am willing to get a Mariotta, Winston , a good QB from this draft. You could pretty much say each position is a crapshoot . Our focus should be on offensive linemen and a QB. I am sick of defense with team. The defense we have is in much better shape than our offense, please.

Why does everyone assume that Tampa Bay will draft a Quarterback in round one? For we all know they may trade for Sam Bradford, or opt to sign another veteran... two months is an eternity in the NFL universe.

I think they're going to shock us all on draft night and take Leonard Williams.

I'd rather carousel Barkley, Mallet, Glennon, Fitzpattrick, Geno, Daniel and hope one turns into a Foles or Wilson than give up those picks.

And I'm HUGE on Jameis going back to last year

Saying that a desperate NFL franchise will pass up on a franchise QB is like saying a crack addict will pass up crack.

Unless someone proves rape, Winston is going #1 overall.

Sell the farm and trade to number one.

We need a QB so bad and this kid is an absolute stud!

Oregon is in the worst recruiting area in the country. Recruits an average of the 17th ranked class in the country. Loses best coach in school history and has rookie DC. Goes to national championship and losses to Ohio State. I remember losing to Division 2 teams regularly in the 80s. I will survive.

Reports going around that Lovie is in love with Winston.

Also, Cleveland is going to try and make a trade for Bradford.

The Texans needed a Quarterback, and they took Clowney instead.

Leonard Williams is the clear cut best player in the draft and his tape is nearly on par with Clowney's '13 tape....

Didn't folks say the same thing abkut the Texans in '06. It's February A LOT will and can change,

There are also reports that state that the Bucs are leaning towards Mariota. You see my point? He even went as far to call him NFL ready. My point is , I don't believe anything coaches or the media say during draft season in February.

I wouldn't go overboard on this guy. Obviously like his college some of you could care less about character. You just want to win a SB in your lifetime. But there are other red flags: his arm or shoulder since he's been a pitcher at a fairly high level for over 15 years. And then there's his weight. Hes only 20 and already 238 pounds. He seems like a guy who as he gets older will have problems peeling off weight. When Jameis is 50 I bet he weights 300 lbs. And then it's his weirdness. On the field he looks like he's out of his fucken mind. Ok maybe because he's a great competitor. Also his standing jump was way under Mariota's. And the speed a little under 5. Not sure about the bench press but as a strong pocket passer he'll have to be strong.

Winston is a cocky fukker though. Screw confident, he's a cocky bastard. What's gonna happen if we end up with him and we are still losing? I think we'd see a lot of sulking ala Cam Newton during interviews. He comes off as energetic and enegmatic because of his success at FSU, but I think he'd be a farkin headache as a loser.

You may be right, but as we all know, the QB position is 10x more important than a DT.

Jesus. This is one of the worst posts on Winston I have ever seen lol

Brady, Roethlisberger, Manning, Romo, etc. all ran near a 5.0 on the 40.

Standing jump? Really? He's gonna be 300 pounds when he's 50 also?

Oh and he's been a pitcher at a high level for 15 years even though he's 20 years old? Man, when he was between the ages of 5 and 15, he really was pitching at a high level.

    Lmao!!

At least we'll always have the memory of those victories over the Steelers and Dolphins last year.

So, we want players who lose well?

    Is that what you're saying?
