PHEW, that was a close one! ... like I've been saying, I really think he would have been a mistake; misplaced FA money. Good blocker but a liability in the passing game I think, and someone who would have gotten the ill-timed end zone target (like Davis did last year) that would have hurt us in key spots. Addition by subtraction (or "non-addition" I should say). We can find a cheaper alternative as a blocker who won't get ill-fated looks in the passing game, or maybe someone who is a better receiver as well. Thumbs up on this non-signing. (well maybe fate, or Gresham's decision, or however you want to look at it, saved Mac from a mistake on this one?) Either way good for us I think.
