Your kidding right?Jermain Gresham commited a brain fart against the Bills? Were you not alive when Kellen Davis dropped a pass to take the lead against the Bills last year? They weren't talking about Gresham ,Do you even watch Jets games?
The same could be said for a rookie though and at a lower price. ...but I think Amaro will bounce back from the injury...look if Gresham is strictly a blocker, as in a steep fine for any QB who throws him the ball, then ok maybe
besides lacking a franchise QB for so many years, this has to be another position that we simply have not given serious attention to. TE is the new WR. About time we get one of these !
I thought we were using Amaro at H-back in this system..... is it impossible to find someone who can catch AND block? Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
Oh sorry, my bad, I misread that ... ... Kellen Davis is a blocking TE, our QB had no business targeting him in the end zone! THAT was the laughable (or sad) part of that play, now that I think about it. The problem with Gresham is that he used to be a receiving TE so he might get more passes thrown his way than Davis ever did, that's the scary part.
No, you misunderstood me. And it's my fault, I mistakenly thought some other posters on here were talking about a Gresham play against the Bills when it was really a Davis play. Then I remembered that play as well, and my point is just that if you're going to kill Davis for that play (and I think the QB should never have targeted him since he's a blocking TE who can't catch), then you have to realize Gresham is basically the same kind of player. That's all, that's what I meant anyway. ...been on here too long, eyes glazed over, need a break lol.
Gresham > Kellen Davis in all aspects of game. Simple and the point of free agency. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
you are correct on that, I forgot about him, and shouldn't have. But what I meant was a real stud TE, but Keller did a damn fine job.
