Don't count on the naked, but I'll be in the top row of the bleachers on the 50 before 8:30AM... all the way from Jersey and wearing my 2005 "Jets Training Camp" cut-off T-shirt. Bringing an umbrella too. Yes, they do work to keep the UV rays off you, and screw anybody who objects... I'm in the top row, damn it! I'll take the OFF along with lineman-savy Kurt, if that works out. I think T-Bird and 1028 can more than handle the DEF. All four of us will be there for the morning practice and I know I'll be there for the PM practice with T-Bird as well, even if I have to drag him out of the ambulance. Particularly interested in the difference between Pennington's arm last year and this year. Want to see Ramsey, but even more important, I'm interested in the total difference in camps. Having seen Herm's '05 version, I'm anxious to compare it to this year's.
I loved hearing that. Honestly Graham will be thankful he is training in the NFL rather than all those preseasons with Geelong. I'm not knocking NFL, just pointing out the difference, but endurance training is the backbone of Aussie rules football and players train from November through our equally hot summer until March, 4 or five times a week and running 5 mile time trials. As a true 'footballer' I suspect you will always see him with a football in hand. We sleep with them here. The more you hold/play/bounce a ball the more it becomes part of yourself. To clarify I say true footballer referring to his job on the team ie. handling and punting the ball as opposed to a football player whose job is to tackle/spoil/hit opponents.
Was listening to my Sirius radio about 10-15 mins ago. I caught the tail end of a conversation on a show called The late hit. I am not sure who the guest on the show was but he's been attending the Jets training camps. And the one thing he said that troubled me the most was that Bryan Thomas has actually been giving D'Brick a tough time in TC. Can anyone verify this??
He probably didn't see a lot of 3-4 in college. Thanks so much for posting these reports guys - very good shit - way better than anything I've read by a reporter.
Yeah someone mentioned that yesterday I think it was in their camp report. It's not surprising considering that THomas was fast for a DE when he played DE and now that he is down to OLB size he probably in even faster. Most OLBs had better give a tackle problems or else they have probably lost a few steps.
Thunder...great job...again!! I was thinking of coming out there Wednesday...but man...100 degrees? Thats what they are calling for...if not..definite for Friday. Tell me if you will be there Friday and I will hook up with you guys.

Some funny stuf, you guys! Jeff, I was moving around, but I didn't see anyone else with an umbrella. That sissy lookin thing belongs to me sis... I found it in the closet before I went to TC! Yeah, during the red zone drills, that's about where I was. The next time I go to a 2 o'clock session, I'll get there at three. watching the drills is interesting once or twice, but it's the 11 on 11's I want to see. The 2 a days should be a little better, not at the high point of the day's heat. So, Jay.... if you got to a 2 o'clock, get there no earlier than 2:30. bring a jug of ice water, and an umbrella, unless yer a nut. An amonia towel.... no better way to get refrshed in the heat. The buzz however, is minimal. 227, I promise to keep my clothes on. Rambo, it seems to me that Rhodes comes up a bit early for a FS on running plays. I think a trick play could burn him, like a shovel pass back to the QB. But.... he really does seem to have great read instincts. I saw him rush the flat and almost take one to the house on a ... mighta been a screen, but a behind the LOS pass to the other side. He was just a smidge late. he wasn't blitzing either.... he just read it and reacted. Well, that's about it. I might as well extend this invite now.... 227 mentioned 4 of us will be hooking up at the am session. Then, it's off to my place for some burgers and dogs on the grill. I could handle another one or two guests.... so if you like, meet us at the top of the bleaches at 8:45 on the 50. PM me if you'd like to attend. I'll check in in the morning before I head out to camp. MM, you free? Should be a great day tommorrow! Those 2pm sessions are nasty.
You know us too well Statman. Just throw us a little bone every now and then and we will hang around like a bad smell.
Yeah. I was a little distracted today. I was at the store a little bit, then walked a round. Wasn't watching the field at all times. I enjoyed reading your report. We'll have to meet up sometimes this camp.
