just because dumbass tannybum gave suckchise $8.3 million guaranteed, does not mean we should compound one dumbass move with another one. start mcelroy.
the owner watched the same game you did sunday, and he isn't blind. suckchise served up 3 picks, and looked as bad as the rookie arizona qb. after 4 years, what does that tell you?
Fingers crossed Sanchez starts. Don't let the door hit you... Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using Tapatalk 2
i have no issue with the coach getting advice about what to do in this situation. At the end of the day it's still Rex's decision. I am honestly leaning towards McElroy getting the start. Lets see what we have in him. The season is over anyway. If McElroy bombs then we just get rid of him. If he plays well then we keep him and have an open QB competion between he and Sanchez next season.
How many chances is Sanchez going to get? Tebow and McElcroy barely get any chances to prove themselves, yet Sanchez gets a chance week after week and every time the Jets end up paying for it with a loss. The complete inability of this organization to learn from its past mistakes is astounding.
No matter what station you are in life, the boss is always right. Woody should make the call, it's his team.
I'd be happy never seeing Sanchez behind center for the Jets again, or behind Moore's ass for that matter.
Early signs looking like Sanchez will start...Schefter will b on mike n mike in a few...let the babies commence their whining and constant lame "butt" jokes
He just was on -- says Rex hasn't announced yet, but his source tells him it's almost certain to be Sanchez. I agree with Sanchez over McElroy. McElroy would be starting a spiral that I don't know where it goes.
Sanchez will supposedly have a shorter leash. If he can't handle the 31st ranked D in the league, we'll see GMac.
This is what you posted before McElroy played this past Sunday: Originally Posted by HardHitta I can see it now, Sanchez get's injured with us down by 10 in the 4th quarter and in comes the great Gregory McElroy and he leads us to a great come back win and forever alters our history... Yeah, but we've already seen RR go to the bullpen and the crowd will rip Sanchez apart next home game if he stinks it up vs JAX and TEN. I expect Sanchez to get pulled if he plays like he did last week.
:rofl:no wonder they haven't been back to the super bowl in 44 years. just one stupid move after another. unless j-ville smokes suckchise on sunday, we are wasting money on sunday ticket or actual tickets for the rest of this year. insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. while we're at it , why not bring back gholston and Robertson to start on defense for sanchez? heck, we can have browning nagle back him up at qb.:shit:
If Sanchez doesn't play well against Jacksonville he's not going to get another start. If he sucks on Sunday we will likely see the Jets eliminated from the playoff race as a result. That would end the rationale from Rex's position to keep playing him. If he plays well at Jacksonville and the Jets win at Tennessee then he's going to be the starter at MetLife against the Chargers. I doubt Rex is going to send him out to full-throated boos in that game if the Jets are eliminated from playoff contention by then. There'd be just no point. Doing that would be one of the few things that could absolutely get Rex fired after the season. Woody has a track record of firing coaches who lose it late in seasons when they were expected to contend. Pissing the fans off for no good purpose after the Jets are eliminated would qualify as losing it.
