This is not a actual offer. On the site it says they could offer something like that to get Denver's interest.

I love Harris and I'm iffy on Cutler, but this sounds right along the lines of what we would need to get him. It's probably my ceiling on what I'm willing to give up, too. I'd personally rather split up the picks if at all possible (one this year, one next), but you gotta do what you gotta do to get a franchise QB.

I'm definitely more willing to give up Harris than Jenkins, Revis, or Rhodes at least. Also, Denver's first round pick was a strong bet for a 3-4 ILB like Maualuga, so the Harris would likely be a player of ours that they would target.

I'd be okay with 1 and 2. Giving up Harris or anyone else of value is off the board.

And guess what? Denver won't be down with this 'cause they still don't have a QB!

I could see them taking a trade like this if they really like Josh Freeman and would take him at #17....otherwise I think this only happens if we get a trading partner to send them someone.

i've said this in one of the other 200 Cutler threads. Traderbaum will trade his testicles if Woody deems it viable....to bring Cutler here. PSLs trump it all, folks.

I want Cutler...but to get him...we're gonna get fleeced. Bottom line. Be prepared to kiss one of our defensive starters "bye bye" if this happens.

    ^haha love the avatar...from 'Guitar Queer-O' right?

I hope we can get him without giving up a defensive starter but that seems unlikely. Somebody like Harris is extremely trade-able (contract-wise). Not that I wanna see him go but he'd be the most likely to go.

If it comes down to trading Revis, then hell no.

Denver has devalued this trade and Cutler has devalued himself. Both sides are a lose-lose at this point.

Probably a good deal for some team, but at this point I'm sick and tired of bringing in somebody else's discarded garbage. I long for the day when we can develope our own QB while building the rest of the team around him.

Hey... wait a minute... that day is now. All we have to do is develope one of our present QBs and stay on course with what we have! Brilliant concept!

clearly that would work, because you know what the Broncos want and what other teams are offering.

just because you don't want to give up any player of value doesn't mean that is what it will take. I'd give them a third and a box of girl scout cookies, because that is what it would take. that sounds just as effing stupid.

Maybe not but they will have two mid 1st round picks that will get them any QB in this year's draft if that is what they want.

Say "bye bye" to one of our injury prone defenesive starters (who hasnt proved half what cutler has) and say hello to a pro bowl starter on the most important position in all of sports for the next 10 years. Harris can be replaced in the draft but we wont be able to find anyone close to Cutlers talent in the draft this year

This is my biggest fear. Woody stepping in and telling Tannenbaum to pull the fucking trigger at any cost.

"Mike, I need to get these fucking PSLs sold, you know? Bring the bastard in here."

And everybody who actually has a brain keeps telling you it's a collective effort. Keep trying to make it seem like Tannenbaum is making all of the decisions by himself, you just look foolish doing so.

Cutler becomes the calling card. All else doesn't matter. It's a business.
