It was the Texans that beat them for their 2nd win so that game went in our favor anyway. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
Texans have a good QB. They were bound to win another game rest of this year. It is the Jags I am worried about.
Rooting hard for Pats tomorrow sick to say also FYOU JAMAL ADAMS- enjoy the losing ....you did shit today- again.....!! Keep losing give us a better pick that is all
Geez, am I nuts for saying we could actually have a debate at #1 if we get there between Trevor and Fields ? I figured Fields was overrated based on Haskins stinking up the joint.
For those worrying about the S.O.S. All we can hope for is that you see our season opponents lose as much as possible. As for JAX. They have 5/8 games with 25 points or more scored. Lets hope that brings another win or two somewhere. Sent from my SM-G610Y using Tapatalk
Yikes. http://www.playoffstatus.com/nfl/nfldraftorder.html That order is obviously based purely on projected record.
I made that post on Tuesday and damn, I couldn't have asked for a better Sunday. NY Giants kiss their #1 pick dreams good bye and could be stuck with, Daniel Jones within the immediate future etc. And I know everyone is scared of Jacksonville but I wanted Houston to win so bad because Miami owns Houston's pick; and I'd hate to see Miami with not only the #1 pick but anywhere within the top 5. We need Houston to win a couple more. Miami already have Tua and we as Jet fans wouldn't want to see them A.) Trade out of the 1st or 2nd pick and receive an insane haul. B.) We don't need them drafting Tua a Sewell type of Franchise LT @ 2 or 3 and we'd also hate to see them draft C.) WR Chase out of LSU etc Our only remaining opponent right now is currently Jax however, man; I really enjoyed and liked seeing Miami drop today within the big picture (within the tank standings) and @ the expense of the Texans winning. Two team Race: Jets. Jaguars. Felt like just a week or two ago we were just 1 win from being 7th or 8th because of SOS; but not anymore.
DWC, it appears this tackle Sewell will go #3, right ? He's very good and just a bit smaller than Becton. Daniel Jones is OK for the Giants; they are PRAYING that Thomas turns it around later this year and going forward. If they missed on him at tackle (unless he's another Flowers case that needs to move to Guard), it kills them. Would NOT be averse to taking Seattle's #1 (low-20's probably, hopefully they don't go far in the playoffs) and a #2 and maybe moving into Top 10 of 1st Round for a premium pick. We have two #2's I believe so can part with one of them to move up.
Absolutely. But taking a step back and being objective, I'm absolutely loving being halfway through the season where the ensuing draft has one of the best QB prospects we've seen in years, and the Jets have a clear one game lead in what is presently a two team race to the bottom.
If we finish #1, it's a no-brainer for Trevor. But if we are at #2...we need to REALLY do our DD and find out if JF is the right guy. Otherwise, there are 4-5 teams that will pay a haul for the #2 and we can get some nice draft capital and keep Sam.
We only have one 2nd round pick, and we cannot afford to trade up. We have too many needs/holes. Trading up is absolutely the worst thing Douglas could do.
We can afford to trade up more than anyone else. If a guy drops into the teens that shouldn't be there, using our second and fourth rounders to get a sure thing would not be a bad idea.
