No Brook! Don't make that bet man. $250 on a Texans ML @ -303 odds only pays back in return $332 in other words only $82 profit. That's too much to gamble $250 for only $80 profit and a bad value bet and to make it worse it's between a crapfest matchup between two awful teams bro (without Houston, on the road). If you're willing to gamble $250 this weekend? Man. You can do a lot of $10, $20, $50 & $100 bets and walk away with a lot more than $80 profit. But yes back to the Tankathon thread. The Giants will upset the world and beat the Buccaneers tonight. This is the definition of a trap game. The Buccaneers are on the road tonight before having a monster game @ home in TB next Sunday night vs divisional rivals N.O Saints. Classic Vegas Trap Game. And I fell for two trap games yesterday. I had both Packers and Titans on my parlay ticket and the Packers lost to a 1 win Vikings team and the Titans lost to a 1 win Bengals team; and the Packers play San Fran next week and Titans play the 5-3 Bears next week. I opened up an online account last night I only loaded $100 into my account but tonight I took NYG ML over TB for $20 on a +550 payout meaning that my $20 will bring me back $130 ($110 profit). This Bucs @ Giants is another NFL and Vegas trap game and you heard it here first because I have this weird feeling Brady and his Buccaneers drop the ball on this one against the lowly Giants ala Any Given Monday. $20 for $130 in return fk it I'm going to roll the dice tonight brother
Jaguars and Texans. I think that's a gimme for the Texans. I don't see how the Jags will win any game here on out. Ironically, how horrific would it be for the Jets to beat the Pats? Being it would ruin there chance for the #1 with strength of schedule going to Jax. That would be uproarious. The Pats sticking ti to the Jets in another fashion.
Giants are big time players @ the poker table too. I'll be rooting hard for NYG to get lucky tonight with TB becoming victims of another Vegas trap game tonight such as both GB and TEN both losing to 1 win teams yesterday. I'm actually super pumped up for this Bucs/Giants game tonight I think it's going to be closer than everyone thinks.
. . Thread calls for comments on the "2021 draft" --- seriously, nobody cares about your gambling addition. .
Interesting how the NFL does not, like other leagues, incorporate a draft lottery. By not incorporating the draft lottery (assuming the lottery is legit), the NFL obviously prefers to retain full control of who gets the #1 pick. Certainly not very difficult to do with a "missed call" or two here and there down the stretch. Having key impact players sit out with dubious injuries or illnesses is another way to easily manipulate the results.
I felt that the one game the Jets may have a shot at, was against the Bills at home. It was a winnable game - they covered but the 2nd half performance was horrendous. If Darnold is able to play and they get Crower back along with Mims against the Pats , it the one game they have a good chance at to break the streak. If this 'upset' happens, they just blew the #1 pick, imo. Doesn't matter what the Giants will do. The Jags will go 1-15 - no more winnable games - after Minnesota, their sched is just plain brutal.
14-6 Giants (+8) @ the half and I'll take it every time in hopes for the #1 pick. Giants winning tonight would become big time for us Jet fans.
Even if they lose tonight their division is bad and they will win at least 2 more games. My one and only fear is the Jags. Next Sunday’s game against Texans are their only shot at winning another game.
I agree--I think we honestly need to lose out to get the #1 overall. The best plan would be for Joe D. to order Gase to sit Sam due to injury. Darnold's randomly few great games a year could be enough to keep us out.
Yes, he is. And so are these officiating official's it's been a one sided affair with TB getting all of the game changing momentum calls with a couple of game changing PI penalty flags going Tom Brady's way (reminds me of his NE days all over again). But yes. Daniel Jones looks really bad (reason why his QB Rating is ranked right above Sam's as one of the worst around).
