Ok. And then what if gets injured and cost him millions? Or what if the Jets get the #1 pick the next year? What's he going to do... Just not play football? Lol.

And PS regardless of which team picks #1 they'll obviously stink.

    Everyone else has a win.

If we lose out the # 1 pick is ours.

    We control our own destiny.

Adam Gase is the tank commander!

Big day today...Jets looking how we need them to look. Huge win by Denver today, that was fantastic. I'm not at all worried about ATL or MIN, not one bit...Bengals look good in the loss and they play WAS downline the line so that's a 2nd win...I am however extremely worried about the loser of the 2nd Giants/Wash matchup as both of those teams did everything they could to lose today's game and both look terrible. I will say that the Jets actually keep getting worse while others just say the same level of bad, so that's encouraging...Keep Gase and we should be in good shape for #1 pick.

After yesterday I believe this is now down to a 4 team race between the Jets, Giants, Football Team & Jags with the Jets obviously heavy favorites.

Hopefully each of those teams will get to win number 2 before the Jets get to win number 1.

One advantage is the Giants and Football team are also competing for the division title as well as the top pick lol.

If he turns the Jets around, Lawrence can make $50 MM a year in endorsements. Maybe $100 MM a year.

Freddie "The Beatle" Barnes said it best about that 1988 photo....commenting on Dukakis on the tank he said..."he looks like Snoopy."

Not anymore. 21-16 Giants with another 4:38 remaining and Philly has all 3 timeouts remaining.

But yes a Giants win would be awesome because heaven forsaken the Jets miss out on Trevor Lawrence there is one team that I couldn't stomach seeing him on. And that's the Giants. No. They've never been a rival of ours but we share a stadium with them and a duo of Trevor Lawrence and Saquon Barkley ala my two favorite college kids over the past 5 NCAA seasons would make me absolutely sick. Little brother syndrome or whatever you call it; I'd become disgusted seeing Trevor Lawrence a Giant.

Question for Jets fans. I know we are all in for getting the #1 pick and taking Lawrence but what others players do you want to see the Jets draft? We do have a lot of picks in these next few drafts. Where else should the Jets focus on? I know OL and DL as well as WR and CB will be priority. What others players for this upcoming draft would you like to see the Jets get? We need a lot of help on both sides of the ball.

Coming away with the top RB in the draft at the bottom of round one would be great.

Getting a stud pass rusher or a pro bowl guard would be huge.

Concerned about Washington. Their schedule is tough.

Eh they still got games vs Cowboys x2, Giants, Eagles as well as games vs Lions, Panthers & Bengals.

They’ll likely win at least one of them if not more.

I'm worried about getting wins against the Chargers, 2nd Phins, and Pats.

Like some of you, I don't look past Belechick losing that last one on purpose.

We will probably need to lose every game.

I guess I'm in the minority. It's only week 7 people, and the Jets are on pace to be worse than the winless debut Bucs season.

0 wins is definitely on the table, but 2-14 still likely gets the first pick imo.
