Did they extend Cooper yet ? If not I wonder if they’re gonna have a hard time signing both of them ...

This is true however it would also prove that draft positioning is over rated as a scouting dept/ GM that actually knows what they’re doing should find a good player wherever they wind up ...I can see both sides to the argument .

I agree about Fowler. If they get Clowney you got your anchor on the defense, you got your guy. I do hope that they could address the edge rusher after the 1st. We need to hit the offense in this draft the best we can.

Are Seahawks playing for anything at the moment? Cardinals seem like they have a shot.

Can you name a position they don't suck at drafting? Johnson has been a major dissapointment, Skrine and Clairborne are FAs. Could target Darby in Free agency.

Unfortunately, we aren't one of those teams that can spot talent no matter where we pick. Not yet, at least.

Cooper still has another year on his deal but they could easily extend him. Can give him a signing bonus with very little salary next season to save cap space.

    I don’t think so they’re in playoffs but don’t have a chance at a home game ....

recent history doesn't show this. take a look at the top 10 receivers for the past 5 years. not many rings on those lists and a lot of non playoff teams represented

Well it’s going to be tricky getting an EDGE guy in FA then other than Fowler . I can’t see the Texans not tagging Clowney ...

Well I was thinking further back than 5 years. It’s a passing league and a QB needs a dependable guy who he looks for when he needs the catch . However a #1 WR would be the least important position on that list . Right now I feel all the Jets have going for them is Darnold but at least it’s a start .

Fowler shouldn't even be on the Jets Radar. He hasn't done anything. Jags D was stacked and he was a non factor, now with Donald drawing double and triple teams at well over 70 % of the plays he's been invisible.

Seahawks are in the playoffs and have alot to play for
They can drop to the 6 seed with a loss

    Go Cards!

It's always nice to see Pete Carrol lose. Moving up to #2 (or #1) is just an added bonus.

If the Jets had lost just one more game last year than they won, we'd still have our 2nd round pick THIS year. Winning meaningless games, like the Buffalo game this year, HURTS the team!

Like I said if they were to sign Fowler they would need another EDGE guy to pair with him. Fowler would be the second of two parts basically. He’s not a three down player and has been a disappointment considering where he was drafted .
