Not sure I'd say he's better than half the starters in the league but he's better than a good few for sure and definitely under valued. Could you win with him? I don't know, he's a better Fitzpatrick maybe - good years, bad years - and maybe not getting the slack to survive the bad ones. Not saying they are similar players by the way, just I see their careers following similar paths.
Brook, you must love tanking. I for one have had enough of it and just want to win games. Tanking does not guarantee you will get a stud player either. Could be a total bust!!! Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
He's thrown more than three times as interceptions as touchdowns for a passer rating in the mid 90s on the Jaguars. The team that Trevor Lawrence is playing terribly for. The guy's a franchise QB, and nobody appreciates him because he's a late round pick with a below average arm who looks weird. Imagine Fitz without the dumb turnovers. That's Minshew, and that's way better than a lot of guys teams are pinning their hopes on.
I heard a quote that really stuck out for me: " this game is imo (and i've seen a few draft guys say this) but they are in a class of their own at edge rusher. Think they are clearly a cut above the other edge prospects... unless a QB needy team falls drastically in love with one of the QBs and trades up, these 2 are going 1 & 2 in April
whoops ... "this game is the same game the Jets won which cost us a chance at getting Nick Bosa, so we will clearly win"
I wouldn’t call him a FQB because he hasn’t done it long enough or won enough games but I don’t see how he doesn’t have the Broncos, Browns, WFT, Panthers, Giants, etc. in better position to make the playoffs.
Agreed. I am not sure what win over Jax will accomplish. Morale boost of winning 4 games instead of 3 for the year before losing next two games anyway? With 3 wins we probably land Hutchinson or Thibodeaux for next 10 years. Meaningless win again Jax and we lost out on the top tier talent and move to second tier, where a star player is not guaranteed.
I watch very little college ball but I'm worried from the clips I've seen of Thibideoux + I've heard some analyst talk about how he's a bit raw I'm skill moves but physical freak. That just gives me PTSD. I want Hutch!
I hope Zach Wilson out performs Trevor Lawrence but yet NYJ still finds a way to lose. Only because picking 1st overall compared to 4th overall could become an impact and gigantic difference; because Hutchinson looks like a FREAK OF NATURE pass rusher; and that's something we've lacked for damn near 20 years now. Also. Having the 1st overall pick of the 2nd round could be impactful as well.
