I'm hoping we find our pass rushing LB at 25, preferably Spencer from Purdue. If not, I'd be happy with Blalock. I really don't want to see a DB here though.

 

i went o-line only because there will be no impact d-lineman by pick 25. mangini is doing things the bb way(obviously) and would have preferred a mamuthed nose tackle, but there will be none worth the pick at 25. so o-line would be my guess. bb used all 1st rd picks for his d-line and i think mangini would prefer this route also (since defense is his mainstay). problem is, they just aren't gonna be there this year at pick 25.

the pats were super lucky to get wilfork at pick 20 of the first rd the year they got him. wilfork was projected to be a top ten pick and surprisingly fell all the way to twenty. in the 3-4 defense, the nose is the key to making the system work and thats what the jets desperately need b/c, robertson is not a 3-4 nose. he should be at tackle or in a 4-3 defense.
