Yup. On that field position, NE goes for it on 4th and 2 (and probably makes it). By taking the penalty and pushing them back to 3rd and 12, who knows? Maybe Tom has an incomplete pass leaving NE with 4th and 12. Or maybe Tommy throws a long pass to The Gronk who makes a great catch for 7!

Patriot receivers were wide open it was tough to watch. As a matter of fact, I stopped watching because the Jets secondary gave them so much space. I don't get this philosophy of trying not to lose too bad. Bowles seems to think if he shows something he'll be back. If he comes back next year I won't be watching. The Jets aren't gonna raise my blood pressure

my experience with brady is on 4th and 2 he'll convert a bunch of times. it wasn't 2 chances it was still 1. if the pass to gronk is not complete they arne't going for it on 4th and 12. the choice was basically stop a 4th and 2 and get the ball back or stop a 3rd and 12 and force a FG attempt. the pats ran for over 200 yards on us on 30 carries. do you really think we had a chance to stop them on 4th and 2 when we couldn't stop the run and when brady is as good as he is? i'm willing to be they do some sort of mis direction that leaves someone wide open for an easy 2 yards there
