And it really kills me to see many posters on this board or Jetsinsider or Jetnation not seeing this. At some point, a Green Bay player was tripping our D Lineman while laying on the ground. Refs screwed us today. Man I can't even be mad at players. If refs called a fair game, we would still win this game. PS: I liked Geno. The guy tied the game at 31-31 and thanks to coaches and refs, they took it away from him.
Thank you for looking for some positives in this game. I totally agree with you regarding Geno. Even though the TD was nixed by the TO call, how cool was Geno under pressure on the road? I think we've finally found our answer at QB. I agree that Milliner was probably rushed back. Idzik may deserve some criticism (and there has been more than a little here) for not doing a better job of addressing the other starting CB position opposite Milliner. It's hard for me to say whether Winters will develop or not, but imo there's no question he shouldn't be starting at LG if he has a problem with inside rushes. If the Jets were set at using him at LG, then they should have seen to it that that should not have been an issue for him. They should have moved him to RG where at least if he was beat to his right the defender would have been coming more from the outside, further away, and where Geno could see him, and not coming at Geno's blind side. I totally agree regarding discipline. While MM is the best OC we've had in a long, long time, he is FAR from perfect imo and makes a lot of bonehead calls/decisions.
