The semi between slater and John John was awesome, although I feel JJ should have won. His last wave was better than the 3 he caught before that and his score was lower. Oh well, much props to Medina though. He was criticized for not charging the bombs but when the Finals rolled around, dude stepped up big time against the GOAT. Also, the waves were f'n epic! Talk about perfect Teahupo'o. Would have loved to see Andy out there today.
