I disagree. The Bangals defense was lke, what, 4th in the league last year? It was really really solid. The running game was, surprisingly, efficient. The passing game was atrocious. It was like, don't quote me on this, 25th in the league. They picked up a damn good TE in the draft, a slot reciver who could produce, and Bryant and TO. People seem to forget how good Bryant was in 2007-2008. Now, he has to get over that injury, and all signs point to him starting on the PUP list. TO put up pretty damn decent numbers with...someone on Buffalo throwing him the ball. I still think Dezmon Brisoce can and probably will be a very very productive NFL wideout.

Ravens are looking to be a walking injury report, and without Ed Reed, that secondary isn't exactly great. Their draft picks are falling apart. Ben is out for at least 4 games. The Bengals swept that damn division last year and they improved in the offseason. People thought last season was a fluke, and this team is probably the deepest that Lewis has ever had.

Good move by the Bungles imo. TO had a good not great (850+, 5 TD) season in an anemic Buffalo offense last year... he'll most likely be on his best behaviour after drawing such little interest league-wide and as a #2 he is an upgrade from shitty ass Coles. Low-risk, high reward move for Cincy regardless of whether you love or hate TO.

You see, this is why you shouldn't read something on ProFootballTalk and get all freaked out. Because the Jets have made a bunch of high profile moves over the past two or three years, agents and the media will use them to drum up interest in their clients and their stories. Don't fall for it.

Could the Bengals actually beat the Ravens for the division again?
All offseason I've thought the Ravens would crush that division but after thinking it over and reading Tyche's post I'm reconsidering.

OchoCinco on ESPN is acting like this TO signing is them getting Jerry Rice during his prime.

    OchoCinco/Revis. Check.
    Terrell Owens/Cromartie. Check.
    A. Bryant/Wilson/Lowery/Safety Help? Sure we will be fine let's add a Check there too!

Only thing to worry about is Cedric Benson.

Good move for the Bengals at 2 million. He still suffers from periodic bouts of granite hands, but at 2 mil should get some good value production.

Carson Palmer is going to be bald, in the fetal position and sucking his thumb by week 6.
