    I would rank alternatives:

    1. Losses
    2. Walks
    3. K/BB
    4. Complete Games
    5. Total bases

Holds is a joke of a stat. K/9 or K/BB.

Why does K/9 make a SP stronger, it's a ratio.

I really think losses would be the best replacement, though.

    IP promotes waiver pitcher whoring.

Losses would be my absolute preference.

what is this whoring your talking about?this is a pretty honest league.also maybe we could limit waiver wire p/u to 2 or 3 per week?
also trade and waiver wire deadlines

What's wrong with waiver whoring? You only do it in the playoffs in the finals. You'd have to be an idiot to do that during the season because you'd lose all your guys to teams with higher waiver ranks.

Keep the league the way it was from last year nothing was wrong with it.

It's stupid. Normally I am the active owner who has at least 4 closers at all times because I am watching the wire.

Now I can't. Skill and activity are NOT rewarded because there is no room to stockpile closers, as you have to split rosters with freakin' setup men.

I for one think there should no waiver wire after a certain date.

sorta like real baseball with september call ups.

Hoseshit! It is a skill. You really dont see the benefit of setup men do you?
Here is the reason that I wont hoard closers. If you can get good setup men on your roster they will help with Whip/era/wins/saves & holds.
A real good setup man will get the win and save chances due to the innings that they pitch and they are usually the first man to take over the closer role if the real one goes down for a few weeks. They also pitch more innings than closers do.
Would you rather of had Braden Looper or Scot Shields on your team last year?

You are against whoring but not hoarding. Sometimes I will keep one pitching spot on my team open for various pitchers throughout the year depending on how they are throwing and who they are against. It is a strategy and using the waiver wire and other owners ignorance against them.

    I vote against dropping holds.

I'm looking at the GG2 league. Am I the only one who thinks its weird to have hits, walks, and WHIP all as pitcher stats? I would think that the latter would be better to have by itself...?
