95% of the time I'd agree with this but going to the 2003 Playoff game vs the colts when the jets won 41-0 was better than any sporting event i've ever been to and blew away ever watching a game from home.
If he was away on business, all he has to do is make the payment and call the ticket office up to ensure they aren't suspended. But do you honestly believe that story? Someone who has an important enough job to be traveling constantly, should be organized enough to make his bill payments on time.
This is what I would do if I was you. Look at the account number which is printed on the hard tickets. Call up the Jets ticket office and ask them if the account is in good standings. They only ask for you account number or full name. I wouldn't hunt down the dude until the Jets tell me that the tickets will not work due to non payment. To me that's the best way to handle this and considering the Texans game is in less then 7 days I would do this ASAP!
Good, why should people get shit for free? I paid up, and if you bought 3rd party that's your own fault, sorry. Smart move by the Jets, if any 3rd party buyers are denied they will be the first people called to buy the special mid-season PSL package.

I don't understand any of the outrage directed at the JETS. It is really no different than buying original tickets from a scalper that had unbeknownst to the buyer been voided out because the tickets had already been resold electronically and reissued as paper tickets. It sucks to be scammed either way, but it is "buyer beware" in the secondary market. Use the Ticket Exchange or I believe Stub Hub has some "guarantees" that are available or use a ticket broker that you know and have dealt with before.
Does suck for people who bought on craigslist or ebay and get denied at the gate. Stubhub is going to have a field day with cancelled orders _________________

No it's not. It's the tip of the iceberg. And I don't blame the Jets one iota for enforcing the contracts people signed. The PSLs were a shit deal from the start... always will be IMO. You've got to be nuts to be on the fucking hook for "payments" for the right to buy tickets. Wait until the Jets start shafting the PSLers with PSL ticket price increases that are proportionately more in percentage of increase than the non-PSL seats. Think it won't happen? That puts a lot of people on notice that they aren't going to fuck around with this shit. They don't need to, buster. Let's hike those PSL prices by 10% per year, especially the ones where they made me lower my original prices. if u bought on stubhub they will just get you new tickets and charge the other guy the value for the new tickets ebay, craigslist, and other places are fucked tho
