    Fact no.

    Reality,yes.

I'm figuring someone like yourself may get them and if you did, I KNOW YOU WOULD POST ABOUT IT.

I am wondering though, if another member(s) on the site won tix, would they even post that they did?

Bottom line Jets won't do lottery till after we win AFC Championship.

Why, cause lots of people don't realize 2,000 tickets are automatically allocated to people in coaches club who may not even of had tickets this year.

Also in the past we were all renters, the formula was as simple as number of tickets and number of years.

Going forward they may just do it in a way that is automatic for Coaches, higher odds for clubs, slightly higher odds for PSLs and little odds for 27,000in UD.

Maybe going forward no senority counted. They may view it as a new stadium every starts equal.

The Jets are trying to monitize an investment, they want to make the folks (i.e. whales) happy. People who are paying $195 - $700 a ticket AND bought PSLs are the cash cows. The folks in the $95-$125 seats are lower tier, and that includes the folks in the 4k and 5K PSLS with the $120 tickets.

If the formula is scewed anyway that will completely drive a current season ticket holder who renewed for 2010 to such anger they cancel their season tickets that year that will be a bad thing. Remember, UD EZ Last five rows were a tough sell and that is a completely refundable ticket, Jets don't want people canceling on crappy UD row 26 seats. If Jets make Superbowl F the cheap seats, Jets will have new fans and richer fans coming in. If Jets lose AFC chaampionship there is only a downside of releasing a lotter that is geared towards new and richer fans.

Jets are in business, no reason at all to do any type of lottery until after Sunday. I know for a fact Jets are trying to move the EW Club Prime and Lower Sideline tickets. Would not be "shocked" if I wanted to buy 4 EW club prime come Monday I could get two superbowl tickets.

Yes I would certainly advise the group if I was lucky enough to be one of the lottery winners.

This time around with the implementation of PSLs I am fearful that STH in the UD like me will not even be considered for them. As a analogy this lottery most likely will be exactly like what the cruise lines do give the best to what they consider there best customers & all others get second class tables & dining assignments. This is just my HO based on how I have seen Woody operate since he has taken over ownership of the team

I agree with RowOne. Forget the 2K club seats, what about selling the rest of the expensive seats with the guarantee of 2 super bowl tickets as a way of moving inventory. If I ever found out that happend, that might be it for me. Sell Super Bowl tickets to people that were seasons ticket holders this year, not for next years crowd.

I'm afraid this is not looking good. Season Ticketholder since '85 and I'm sure Woody will find a way to screw me.

StubHub now has SB tickets for sale starting at $1795 each for Upper EZ... they go up from there... WAY up. And it looks like you have to pick the lottery tickets up in Miami. What an inconvenience that would be.

$5000 psl is the cheapest and the tickets ar $195. thats crazy

i just pictured how shitty i would feel at a game like the bills game and pay $195 per seat x's 3 no fucking way

No, I didn't miss it Champ. I'm not a club seater, so it doesn't apply to me. But giving 2 out to all Club Seat PSL purchasers doen't deplete the total Jets allocation, does it?

I guess to know this, you'd have to know how many Club Seat ACCOUNTS there are, then multiply that by 2 and you have the number of tickets that will be sold (I can't imagine ANYONE passing on buying a pair because they can sell them). SO none of us are going to know the answer to this riddle, because the freaking JEts will NEVER let us now how many accounts they have in Club Seating.

I just tweeted the Jets about it, hopefully they deny it even if it is true.

During that Q&A he definitely sounded pretty sure.

No rumor baby. Read the posts. This was built into their PSL purchase IN WRITING by the NY Jets at time of purchase. It's right there in black and white. We're all fucked.

So that would leave 3,000 sets of 2 leftover for the non-elite.

That's absolute bullshit. It should have been based on seniority alone. Between exorbitant resale prices and corporate policies, your average dedicated Jets fan has NO chance of getting to the game.

This is taken right off the Jets website...now keep in mind, this is ONLY FOR COACHES CLUB. Which means PSL of $20,000-$30,000. Even if you bought corner Mezz PSL's, they won't give you SB tix. And technically, they're not GIVING them to anyone, you have to pay face value for them.

    The Coaches Club features:

?A 20,000 sq. ft. bar and lounge designed by premier restaurant and hotel architect David Rockwell famous for spaces like Nobu and the W Hotels
?A private, on-field deck five yards behind the Jets bench
?The opportunity to see the Jets players leaving the locker room to take the field and to watch the head coach's postgame press conference
?All food and non-alcoholic beverages included in the ticket price
?Complimentary VIP parking adjacent to the stadium
    ?Private VIP Training Camp access
?The right to purchase two tickets to a Jets Super Bowl PSLs for the Coaches Club can be paid for using 5- or 15-year payment plans, with annual payments starting at $1,731 per seat (depending on location).

Here is an interesting one, would they even let a 2009 season ticket holder who did not buy 2010 tickets win a lottery> Think about it from a business point of view, why? They are no longer a customer and has been contacted numerous times and each time refused tickets.

Maybe Jets won't go hardcore and throwthen out of lotter but maybe Jets throw into mix number of seats in 2009 + number of seats in 2010 + senority.

Seems somewhat fair. Most oldtimers who went to new stadium downsized anyhow. So if you had 6 in 2009 and 2 in 2010 you would still get 8 chance. Plus people can't game the system. The UD is 100% sold out so you have to quickly buy a PSL for an extra chance and that is nuts.
