Write the beat writers and tell them to get on this (I did). It's a perfect story for them.

I posted earlier that they're saying within a couple days. "Coincidently", after I emailed about the lottery a rep called within 12 hours asking me again if I want seats in the new stadium

It appears that those who one the NFL super bowl laottery for tickets this year MUST pick up ther tickets in Miami Starting Wed Fed 4. Looks like most ticket will need to be picked up in Miami.

This is from the random drawing the NFL does every year between February and June.

From another Jets forum courtesy of Section 319:

The only method the NFL has to distribute tickets to the public is through a random drawing. There is no other way for the general public to purchase tickets. The NFL does not sell tickets to travel or ticket agents.

Entries for the random drawing are accepted between Feb. 1 and June 1 of the year preceding the game in question. All ticket requests must be sent via certified or registered mail. Those selected in the random drawing will have the opportunity to purchase two tickets.

Requests for Super Bowl XLIV, to be played Feb. 7, 2010 in South Florida, will be accepted beginning Feb. 1, 2009 through June 1, 2009.

Yeah that's what the guy was saying (letter is from ebay). He just made it seem as if that's what the Jets will do too, but truth is no one knows because they haven't released details

My guess is the Jets haven't released the info yet.

At least 1 member of this site is going to have an opportunity to buy tix through the NYJ via the lottery.
