Maybe you can go to website it was a january 14th question and answer with rob sullivan..I bet they took it down here is his quote We're still determining Super Bowl ticket allocation. But I can tell you all Coaches Club members will have the opportunity to purchase a pair.
okay try this.. and go to replay http://www.newyorkjets.com/blog/posts/1459-new-jets-stadium-q-a-live-chat its at 1025 the question was asked
So, let me get this straight. Even in years to come, if you spent like $10,000 on a PSL but aren't in the "coaches club" seats, you will have LESS of a chance at SB tickets than those that spent more than you on PSLs? My decision not to partake in this bullshit is looking better and better every day. I'll be at a Super Bowl anyway, and will pay way less than what it would have cost me per year to line the pockets of this greedy owner.
Not necessarily. The league gives each team an allotment of tickets and it's distributed at the teams discretion. For example, everyone with club seats at Gillette stadium got super bowl tickets for the patriots, and the rest was randomly assigned by lottery to the other season ticket holders.
And actually, Jets do guarantee 2 Super Bowl tickets for coaches club buyers http://www.newjetsstadium.com/club_psl.php
So it has been common knowledge to all PSL buyers then? If so, I disagree with the policy but could hardly complain. Edit: I meant, I couldn't complain in the future. This year is still the 2009 season and all '09 season ticket holders should be treated equally.
Not in the eyes of the ticket office, apparantly. I just wrote a Jets beat writer about the situation, asking him to look into it. If people who pre-paid for NEXT season are being given preferential treatment for THIS season, the fans should know about it.
I don't see how the Jets can get away with that. The new Stadium holds about 82,500. There's about 28,000 non PSL seats (upper deck) which means about 54000 PSL seats. How could the Jets possibly make a SB offer to everyone with only about 13K SB tix to go around. What's more, if they only promise to new business then the people who already put down will riot. I think the Jets will come out with a plain vanilla lottery. 1 chance for every season ticket you own, multiply by 2 if you've had them more than X years, and here's what I think may be new: multiply x 2 if you bought a PSL in the new Stadium. I can't imagine they would give a bean in the pot for all new PSL buyers but stranger things have happened
Chat from Jets 10:17 [Comment From LauraLaura: ] If I buy PSLs in the new stadium, would I have the opportunity to buy those same seats for the playoffs? Thursday January 14, 2010 10:17 Laura 10:18 Absolutely. With all season ticket locations in the new stadium you are guaranteed the purchase option for those same seats for all home playoff games. 10:19 [Comment From KurtKurt: ] Will Giant's stadium be completely down by the start of next season? Thursday January 14, 2010 10:19 Kurt 10:20 Yes it will and the land will be used for some of our suite and club seat VIP parking. Thursday January 14, 2010 10:20 10:23 [Comment From halhal: ] Thanks for this chat Rob. I am one of the original season ticket holders since first game at Shea and have been priced out of my original seats NOT by the psl but by the exorbitant ticket prices in great hall club. I have optted for high priced PSL but lower priced seat, ie non club. However, I was wondering...it would be a nice perk to people who bought high priced psl's ie $20000, if the could maybe pay extra per season to have pregame access to a club, as I do now in the stadium club. This would give you greater use of the clubs, as I know the club seats are going to be a tough sell anyway. I think this is a win win idea. What do you think? I would at least like you to consider it as time goes on. Thursday January 14, 2010 10:23 hal 10:25 The designated clubs are limited to those who purchase seats in those areas. But I like your idea and understand your desire to have access to a private club. We'll look to see if there are any other areas we could build out to accommodate this type of request. How likely is it that the new stadium will hold a superbowl (according to rumors)? Thursday January 14, 2010 10:35 chaz watson 10:36 We're in the process of putting in a bid for the Super Bowl. We'll know later this spring if the bid is approved. Thursday January 14, 2010 10:36 Will there be a stadium store with Jets/Giants gear in it? I always felt that was missing in Giants Stadium. Like a big main store. Thursday January 14, 2010 10:39 Pete DiSante 10:40 There will be a large 10,000 square foot team store located inside of the new stadium making it very convenient for you to stock up on all of your Jets gear. Thursday January 14, 2010 10:41 10:41 [Comment From RichRich: ] Any fear that you just made home field a corporate atmosphere? Thursday January 14, 2010 10:41 Rich 10:43 Not at all. Fans are buying the seats in the new stadium. From white-collar to blue-collar, CEO's to Interns, the seats are being sold to true Jets fans. Thursday January 14, 2010 10:49 Jarrod 10:50 If you call 800-469-JETS tell the new stadium specialist exactly where your new friends have upgraded to and they will do their best to find you new seats as close to your friends as possible. Your friends are very savvy. Thursday January 14, 2010 10:50 10:51 [Comment From Coach LonCoach Lon: ] I heard that tailgating will be limited to a certain small area near the new Stadium. Could you please update the tailgating policy at the New Jets Stadium? Thursday January 14, 2010 10:51 Coach Lon 10:52 Coach, tailgating at the new stadium will be the same as the old stadium. We understand and appreciate that tailgating is a significant part of the day-of-game experience for our fans. As long as you do not take an extra parking spot for your tailgate, we highly encourage you to fire up the grill. Thursday January 14, 2010 10:52 10:53 [Comment From John LynchJohn Lynch: ] Hi Rob. In the current stadium, one side is primarily in the sun while the opposite side is in the shade. In the new stadium, does this hold true or does the sun his the seats from a different direction? Thursday January 14, 2010 10:53 John Lynch 10:54 The east side of the stadium, the home side, will be the sunnier side of the stadium. After hearing some of the benefits today and what type of experience the new stadium is going to provide I can't imagine not being there, you got me. What do you still have? Thursday January 14, 2010 10:55 JD 10:57 JD, we still have PSL's in the lower level and Mezzanine end zone as well as some of our club areas. We're finding that with the teams recent success on the field some current season ticket holders who haven't yet committed to the new stadium are now doing so. Call 800-469-JETS, any of the new stadium specialists will be happy to help you hand-select the seats you will use for the next several decades. Thursday January 14, 2010 10:57 Adam 10:58 The Mezzanine clubs in my opinion are for the best football sight-lines in the building. Combine that with access to a private high-end club full of rabid Jets fans and you've got an NFL no-brainer. Thursday January 14, 2010 10:58 10:59 [Comment From AdamAdam: ] Will there be a players meet and greet or any other opportunities for PSL holders prior to next season? Thursday January 14, 2010 10:59 Adam 11:01 We're currently putting together the 2010 new Jets stadium customer service plan which will include opportunities for some of our PSL and club ticket holders to attend chalk-talks with coaches and players, attend VIP training camp, come to our beautiful new facility in Florham Park, NJ for a behind the scenes tour, etc. Thursday January 14, 2010 11:01 11:03 [Comment From JimJim: ] How's the demand been for seats over the last few weeks with the way the team has been playing? Thursday January 14, 2010 11:03 Jim 11:05 Our records sales month in December will be eclipsed by our record sales month in January. Selling seats is our business and business is great. Fans understand that the championship foundation has been built and they want to be a part of it moving forward. Thursday January 14, 2010 11:05 11:06 I appreciate all the questions and your support of the team. Be safe and let's bring home a victory this weekend. Go Jets!
Chat from Jets This is right from Jets website. If you bought a Coaches Club seat for 2010 you automatically get offered Superbowl tickets. BTW if that is the case going forward, very few regular PSL owners can ever get a SB tickets and non-one in UD can ever get one. There are only like 10K SB tickets to allocate. How many coaches club seats are there? 10:25 [Comment From FrankFrank: ] If the Jets make the Super Bowl this year will new stadium season ticket holders have access to Super Bowl tickets? Thursday January 14, 2010 10:25 Frank 10:26 We're still determining Super Bowl ticket allocation. But I can tell you all Coaches Club members will have the opportunity to purchase a pair. Wow, that is some BS- I hope everyone is contacting their reps now, this should stir up a shit storm. Thanks for posting the Q&A.
Friends called Vikings and Saints ticket offices.. They wont have answers until next week about their ticket lotteries.. Vikings ticket office said their formula is seat total x number of years.. So apparently everyone is waiting till after the games on Sunday.
There are 2000 coaches club seats.. its only coaches club seats that are promised sb tickets Why would a Coaches Club Member who so far has only put down a 20% deposit without purchasing a single game ticket be more entitled to Super Bowl Tickets than those of us who have been attending games and waiting our whole lives for this opportunity?
