Just trying to think of a plan that makes watching this team worth it. Not sure the actual people in the franchise care as much as you or I though.
Haha so true. If this weekend taught us anything, it is that having a QB matters BIG TIME. -Ben Roethlisberger -Aaron Rodgers -Tom Brady -Matt Ryan All franchise QB's. The Jets have work to do in that department. And many other departments!
Purchase Grey cardigan sweater Wake up each morning singing "its a beautiful day in the neighborhood..." Find some imaginary friends Sit back with some hot cocoa and the Serenity Prayer and wait out 2017-18 fiasco in Jetland Check it out after dust settles
All we have to do is get the fastes scrubs to run come back routes and they will have 100 yards by half time on Revis.
We aren't going to win the Superbowl for a long long time so you might as well stop worrying about it and learn to enjoy the process of possibly getting better/fucking up royally. The Jets are entertaining if you can mentally project yourself as the fan of another team. Ron
I think it's more appropriate to question whether or not the Jets will actually make it back to the Super Bowl rather than when it will happen as though it's a certainty that it will at some point in the future. It's more of an if question than a when question in my mind, and I think it's somewhat likely that those who were around in 1969 saw the only championship that this franchise is going to win, at least within our lifetimes anyway. I resigned myself to the fact that I'll never see these bums win a championship a couple of years ago. If the 1998 and 2010 teams couldn't do it, then I just don't see it happening. Those were the two legitimate shots the franchise had at reaching that level and maybe stabilizing into a somewhat normal franchise that can expect to compete to some degree year in and year out. They missed the boat both times, leaving me unwilling to believe that they'll ever get their act together.
Best case scenario is SB next year. The Patsies went 5-11 with no excitement in 2000. We all know what happened in 2001. Realistic scenario is Super Bowl maybe in my lifetime. And I'm not that old...
