I hate both teams. Smug family in NC are all now bandwagon panther fans and its disgusting. Smug mother in law and father in law are bronco fans, and I am sick of them as well. Panthers will go into the fourth quarter with a two possession lead and will never give it up. Cam will dap his way off the field and we will all be forced to watch highlights of a mediocre SB until the draft rolls around.
It's not hard, you just need some accounts on different books. Ideally you want a few accounts on "square" books and a few accounts on "sharp books", that way you have a great choice of prices. In some cases, where you think the true line is very different from from the opening line, you can bet both sides and both will be considered profitable +EV bets. The SuperBowl is not the best example case of this, but especially in the College sports you can find many cases. For instance, I already found one place that has Carolina -5. I like the bet but don't have money with them otherwise I would take it. I will wait for Denver +7 with the place I have money with and if it doesn't get there, I just won't bet at all.
Peyton and the Broncos are going to find a way to win. Would I make more money by just picking them to win straight up?
I understand why the Panthers are favored. But that second half against Seattle was one weird piece of football. I also wonder if most others here are feeling "I don't care about the outcome" this year, like I am. I guess I marginally prefer Denver in return for their beating NE. But that's not got me invested in their winning.
Yes. It may be up to 2-1 money on a straight Denver win. Btw. The line has moved up to Carolina -6 now. It will be interesting to keep an eye on that up to the night before the game
Jerricho Cotchery with the game winning circus catch in OT to take home the VLT and MVP. That's all I want to see.
I always loved Cotch. He made some great plays as a Jet in clutch situations, so him doing that in the Super Bowl would not shock me. Still, I want Peyton to go out like the champion that he is.
The difference is that Denver's offense isn't expolosive enough to overcome a big Panthers first half like that.
landed 7-7 in my 500/square square pool so I'm pretty pumped at having a better than usual chance at hitting that one. Now if Peyton Manning could go ahead and refrain from getting a safety on the first play, that would be great.
I want to see Denver win so I have enough motivation to go to Finheaven and see Junc's logical contortionism arguing why a QB that made it to 4 SB's, the first to win it with 2 different teams, and has a winning record against his felatio fantasy Brady in championship games is overrated and a choker.
Yup. Just give us an entertaining game (though I don't think it'll be close). No rivalries, no strong likes/dislikes for particular players or coaches. Booze, snacks, and football. How much of each depends on the score at halftime.
Hahahahahaaaa. Btw UNC lost tonite. He's probably crying big fat vagina tears and complaining about how the refs called everything on UNC and how Louisville punched out every Tar Heel and never got called. So pathetic, he didn't even go there, had no connection to the school other than a pussy fan boi yet he defends Roy like he's his dad. _
always a good read I searched that and found this page which does link to that thread: http://www.forums.theganggreen.com/threads/banned-users.80050/page-5
I'd like to see Peyton win because he's an extremely respectable athlete but I just don't see Denver winning.
It's not that complicated. He's a cocky, confident black guy at a position dominated historically by clean cut, conservative acting, "cerebral" white dudes. White America goes bonkers.
