Dallas had been 240-0-1 when up by 14 in the 4th quarter. It's not a reach to call it anything you want to call it.
If you've ever doubted this teams ability to come back (late), I would hope your mind has been changed after last nights game.
atmosphere was great, new it would be since the day the sched came out. It reminded me of a madden game back and fourth scores, one team constantly being up by 1 possession and then some crazy shit happening. All in all a great win, NFL games shouldn't be pretty, they should be hard fought like that. BTW the cowboys fans were really annoying, most of them are just a bunch of yellers who have little intelligence about football
Me and my buddy snuck down to section 116 with about 10 min to go in the 4th. Got that whole section absolutely rocking after it got quiet being down 14. My god what a fucking game that became. My hand is bruised from high fiving half the people at the stadium on the way out
Not sure if this is the best thread for this, but players who looked good included McKnight, Revis, Scott, Folk, Burress, Keller, LT. Some you'd expect, some you wouldn't. Leonhard played so so except for hussling on that long pass play E Smith got beat on. Hunter and Ferguson both got beat badly. Mangold seemed to have at least a decent game, though. Greene showed next to nothing. Cromartie did not have a good game, which was very disappointing. Thomas made a few plays, as did Pace. MS was good at times, but had two turnovers. Those seem to be the high points.
I wanted to comment on this, because it seems to be a theme for the past few years - Bryan Thomas is as steady a player on the defense with an uncanny knack to make a big play when it counts. He's the anti-Vernon Gholston. While he and The Ghost both came to the team as 1st Round draft picks that seemed lost their first couple of years, Bryan Thomas actually made himself better football player, improving year after year, in stark contrast to The Ghost who was weak of mind and played with an entitlement mentality.
Bart Scott looked like a monster out there. If he keeps playing like this, he's going to be a household name.
Great win ... and that's what I expected from this team. Even when we went down by 14 I had to give my friend a verbal asskicking when she said the game was over. After the game she promised me she wouldn't make that mistake again. We're never out of a game with this staff and this roster. I honestly believe that.
Mangold wiffed (Ware's sack up the middle) just like Brick. It doesn't make sense to give one a demerit and not the other. Ware didn't get any sacks from the left, only that one hit, I thought Ferguson and Mangold were both fine............... just saying.
I could be mistaken, but my recollection is Ferguson did not look good on some other plays, either. Ftr I didn't say Mangold had one of his better games. Decent enough.
We did a hell of a job last night, I thought. I just thought the offensive playcalling was completely horrid in situations. We also threw the ball too much. Seems like Schotty hates Shonn Greene or something.
