Not if Dallas wins tonight, they can still win the division by beating the Eagles next week since they would have the head-to-head sweep
My only chance of watching the game next week is if it's flexed since I'm leaving for Ireland on Friday and have a group dinner on Sunday night. I'm praying they flex it even though usually I would hate that.
There's also a limit to how many primetime games a team can get each year.. Dallas may be at that limit.
Plus playing Sunday night two weeks in a row and Sat night the week before? That could be why Schein reported Jets/Bengals and not Cowboys/Eagles. There may be a rule against that.
I don't know what the limit is but I assume Dallas isn't at it because that hasn't been brought up yet by anyone, everyone has assumed Dallas-Philly would be the flex if it was for the division. I know they've had at least four primetime games - the Giants in Week 2, the Eagles a few weeks after that, last week and this week. I'm not sure if their game with Carolina was too, I seem to remember that being a Monday night game.
Something else to consider is that Fox would probably be unlikely to give up the Eagles/Cowboys game which likely would be a national game for them.
I totally agee. NBC has till Tue. to pick the SNF game for week 17 games . Dallas wins, Jets at 08:20 on Sunday in my opinion. I love it, its a National game and a playoff game for us. For all the marbles baby!!!!!!! I can't believe it
I saw that but the max National TV games one can have is 6. Don't knwo how many the Cowboys have had but obviously Thanksgiving Tonight last week Week 1 after that I don't know.
I Rather play at 1 and plus if we S.O.J. this shit up next week, why would we want the whole country to see it ?
If the 6 National TV game rule is true Dallas will meet that limit tonight. Sep 20th vs Giants Week 27th vs Panthers Nov 8th vs Eagles Thanksgiving vs Oakland Dec 19th vs Saints Dec 27th vs Redskins If this rule is legit and I've only seen blogs indicating it as such it really appears as if we will be the flex game.
