So the Jets made it farther then the Ravens the last 2 years with a worse quaterback than Flacco, because Sanchez relied on his defense? What does that say about your defense Suggs, if you can't make it that far with a superior quarterback?
Flacco was terrible in the Colts game. If Flacco was somewhat alive, they woulda been able to beat the Colts. Instead they lost like 17-3 because Flacco stunk it up. I dont remember Sanchez stinking it up like Flacco did. Im pretty sure Sanchez put up 17 points and had 2 missed FG against the Colts.
And Sanchez gave up a Pick Six AND a fumble recovered for another TD, both of which don't count for anything more in the QB rating system than an INT on a Hail Mary at the end of a half or a fumble recovered by a teammate. Basically, the QB rating system ignored the fact that Sanchez gave the Ravens 14 points. Whoopty-doo. What was the score of that game again?
Honestly maybe Sanchez was rattled in that game but all in all I think he's shown that he can be tough. I mean common this is ridiculous. I'm one of the biggest Sanchez haters out there and I'll still say he is atleast tough. If suggs said hes wildly inaccurate way too often then i would agree but this is just silly. Bart is the only good player on the defense??? really??? jesus what the hell is terrell smoking? And how could Mangini agree with this? I know he wasn't a great coach or anything but he seems like a fairly reasonable guy. How could he not interject and say anything about Revis or Harris? two guys he drafted.. And of course Flacco has been riding his great defense just like Mark so I don't see how Suggs can sit there and discount all of the good performances mark had in the playoffs. I understand supporting your team and dishing out hate and all that. But theres a difference between taking shots at other teams and just coming off sounding like a complete hypocrite and entirely uninformed about the game and other teams.
anybody who watched the game saw sanchez was the worst QB in the NFL that day. the point was Flacco was hardly good, despite suggs opinion that he is on a totally nother level than Sanchez.
I still think Sanchez can be a pretty good qb,but have to admit he is playing scared shitless after the Ravens game. Showed a little return last night later on,but still gets rid of the ball right away
I love how Suggs acts like Joe Flacco was a machine vs the Jets in that same game and that he was so dominant. Lets call it like we see it Suggs. Don't put Flacco over Sanchez when they both stunk equally in the game. Flacco at least had an O-Line and faced a team with hardly any pass rush in the game.
Yeah, you're missing alot. He's a pretty boy - who gives a fuck? Plays scared when he gets roughed up - how do you know that exactly? Maybe you mean "he's less effective when his offensive line can't block the chess club and he's getting hit every time he tries to pass" ?? He's been money in the playoffs and I'm willing to have faith (crazy idea for a Jets fan, I know) that he'll become a much better regular season QB.
I believe that Sanchez is a better QB than Flacco. That said, Suggs is right, Sanchez did quit in the Baltimore game. He got the shit kicked out of him, and by the 4th quarter he rolled over and died. There's no excuse for that (for Sanchez or for the offensive line.)
27-24 Giants. Wait a second... My bad. I saw that faggoty Bills helmet that you're using as an avatar and assumed you were asking about the Buffalo/NYG game. How many picks did Ryan Fitzpatrick throw against the Giants' shitty secondary? Two of them. I can talk shit about opposing quarterbacks as well. Shut your troll face and go back to your Bills' board.
Flacco postseason: 98-184, 53%, 950 yds, 4 TDs, 6 INTs, 61.6 rating, led O to 18.6 PPG, 4-3 record Sanchez postseason: 95-157, 61%, 1155 yds, 9 TDs, 3 INTs, 94.3 rating, led O to 20 PPG, 4-2 record #s against same teams in postseason: 2009 at Indy: Flacco: 20-35, 189 yds, 0 TDs, 2 INTs, led O to 3 pts Sanchez: 17-30, 257 yds, 2 TDs, 1 INT, led O to 17 pts 2010 at Pitt: Flacco: 16-30, 125 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT, led O to 17 pts Sanchez: 20-33, 233 yds, 2 TDs, 0 INTs, led O to 17 pts Stats don't tell the entire story, sanchez has been better than these #s and Flacco worse than his. The 2 aren't close in postseason.
You'd think Bills fans of all people would know when a O-Line plays poorly that the Quarterback will suffer the most.
I can't wait until we play Buffalo because I think our defense matches up very well against them and I actually think we will run the ball on them pretty well. I see us winning comfortably and the Buffalo ship coming back down to earth.
Don't blame him for saying what he did since he's defending Flacco, but I wonder who he'd really prefer come playoff time considering the last 2 years.
Let the Bills fan talk his smack now. Just like they weren't as bad as 0-8 last year, they're not as good as 4-2 this year. I agree with previous poster in that we match up really well with the Bills and their awful run defense. We'll see though.:jets:
