That's something that can't be ignored, but doesn't begin to compare with all that Pacman has done. He's scum.
Who cares if he can play? He's scum. Some of you guys would sell you soul to win a division championship. Pathetic.
Why is he scum? Some of you guys are heavily influenced by media coverage to the point that your brainwashed
This new regime runs a tight ship. Barely a peep about anything the jets are doing. Love it and hate it at the same time.
Dude, Pacman has been present for multiple shootings lol. He even got kicked out the league for a period cause he was such a thug. Pacman is one of the worst behaved players in history. It's a miracle he isn't in prison. Just watch what he did to Amari Cooper last year. Pacman is about as scummy as it gets.
Apparently Mac, TB, and most everybody else believe a man has a right to a second chance and redemption. You're Holier Thou spiel is 'pathetic' Lmao at you bringing your Moral superiority into this, and onto 'your team' and the fuckn NFL. If we had the money your hero Mac would sign him in a second, and TB would gladly coach him. The dudes commanding a lot of attention, and we can't afford him. Bottom line. Mac & TB prolly figured they might have a chance on a Pro Bowler on the cheap.
Changing the subject a little bit, but keeping true to the thread title ----- great quick list below about last year's FA signings & the grades. I believe spot on. And the Brandon Marshall trade isn't even included in that!! Reminds & strengthens your faith in Mike Macc http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2016/03/grading_jets_2015_free_agent_signings.html#0
a great signing isnt just about the talent you get and how they perform. it is also about what that player commands in salary, what is sacraficed/ignored by paying said player, and by how it effects your long term cap. mac made a ton of good signings. but some of the moves he didnt make might be what hurts us. not finding bricks replacment, not extending harrison last year. not going with a cheaper alternative to harris, etc...
Alex Marvez @alexmarvez Source tells @NFLonFOX that @NYJets are sniffing around the free-agent tackle market. Wither Breno Giacomini???
I look at the best teams in the NFL on a yearly basis and you haven't heard a peep from them just like our team. Dolphins and Giants are making some AWFUL moves right now.
dude what are you talkin about? Last year we made moves and it was a genius decision. This year we dont and its a genius move.. lol. Plenty of good teams build their team through free agency. Denver just won a SB with: A starting QB they got in FA A starting WR they got in FA A starting LT they got in FA Both starting guards they got in FA -- Star pass rusher they got in FA top corner they got in FA top safety they got in FA -- there are multiple ways to win in this league. the blueprint isn't to stand put or to spend like animals either way. I'm not going to hang myself if the Jets dont make moves this offseason because they made a lot last year but I'm not naive to think they are being "smart." The Jets are simply not going to be able to sign many players this offseason because they cannot under cap restrictions
They didn't accomplish all of that in 1 off-season. It took like 3 off-seasons to acquire all of those players. They didn't just throw money at every player. Broncos best players you can argue were all drafted by the Broncos. - Von Miller - DT - the guy that just signed with the Jags for 90M - their cover linebackers
Besides @BrowningNagle that was one team. Dolphins spend like crazy every off-season. Same with the Bucs and Jags. When was the last time those 3 teams made the playoffs? Throwing crazy money at average to good players doesn't work most of the time.
