    True, but realistically 4 should be our cap. Idk what I said before but I don't see Knighton at anything below 4 in 2016.

    Definitely wishing we signed Mo to a long term deal last off season or the one before that for sure now, he is going to be expensive.... but I still think the Jets should have the cap room to sign him next off season, it's just going to hurt.

    Supposedly the Jets were in on Vernon but got out once it got above $15 million a year...I hope we at least offered Mo a better deal than Vernon

    The problem is Fitz has the same agent as the guy who just got paid $18 million a year based off 7 career starts. He's obviously going to try and get Fitz a whole lot more than what she's worth and not settle until there are no options left. I think when it's all said and done Fitz will be back for something around $10 mil.

    He has about $37 million guaranteed in the first two years from what I'm reading. You don't think the guy that just brokered the deal is going to try and get something similar for his other client that is probably the better quarterback right now?
