The Yanks are missing that stud Pavano from their rotation.

No, I said that IN SPITE of the injuries, the Yankess have put together a record very similar to the Mets...

Screw it...An arguement with Mets fans will never be worth the time.

if i was a met fan id be worried considering you guys got off to the best start in franchise history and you have a whopping 1 game lead in your division....yankee fans have to worry about their retard manager and injuries, met fans have to worry about there own pitching woes....2 pitchers aint enough guys

You're arguing with yourself. I quoted from your post, you were obviously trying to rationalize away the fact that the Mets had a better record then the Yankees.

And this sort of stuff is the reason why I will be staying far away from the game thread(s) this weekend.

Considering that a very major part of difficulties the Mets have had in the past 10 days or so are because of injuries to the back end of the rotation, distinguishing them as the "healthy" Mets versus the "injury plagued" Yankees seems pretty ridiculous to me. Less important, but you can also add in injuries to the starting centerfielder and the guy who started the year at second base.

?? Take a look at our 4th and 5th starters right now...

What about when Beltran missed a week or so early in the year...

Nice to see Yankees' fans excuses cocked and ready to go.

i think mets fans would be in trouble with that one. half the time we attack each other during the game threads. although i'm sure there will be alot of yankee fans that don't normally post in the game threads out this weekend.

If I were to actually enforce the rules in some of those Mets game threads, a handful of you wouldn't be here. At least you guys aren't attacking one another.
