A couple of complaints. There were at least two maybe three RTP that were not called. 1st strip sack targeting the head and falling on top? Another time he got his helmet turned sideways, no call. Edit: I just watched some replays The cook catch Zach swatted in the Helmet (Ony time I have seen this called. The play he got hurt the second time landed on him with all his body weight. WTF Nobody is saying anything (It is only Zach Wilson)
we don't have Cbs switch sides plus they could move waddle to the slot. it was just the 1 play call. usually we had safety help. waddle was just finding the holes in the zones. not really something to get up i arms about
The OL was so f'n bad that I can't give anyone else on O a dud rating but them. It was impossible to run any play.
Ok so if that’s what’s happening, then maybe consider switching from zone to man, and then stick Sauce on Waddle man to man and see if that helps…I get you don’t switch schemes on the fly like a ping pong ball, but we can and do play man at times…it’s not rocket science. Reed got beat…fine it happens and he’s been a great corner, just had some bad plays. I’m not really too down on the D…I get we gave up 30 points, but that first TD was a Zach sack fumble gift…and honestly, when the offense is SO inept, the D will just not hold up…not just us…I think that’s not uncommon. Hard to go all out game after game with the offensive no show and time of possession issues we force on our D.
Nah, why be concerned about a guy who caught 8/9, one for a TD? He was kept under 150 yards after all. Is it wrong to question why the Jets don't have CBs switch sides? It's surely not because it works.
"It's silly to adjust to what they're doing because they could adjust right back, so we may as well just take the beating. There's also no reason for us to adjust to him finding holes in the zone - it happens." Good stuff.
