Under this scenario he can get another job, if he were fired he may never get another shot to work in the NFL, and can we please stop using Vick as an example, he went to jail as part of a plea bargain and paid with 2 years of his life, both men are paying the consequences for their decisions.

you're overreacting. in no way does that article state that the nfl thinks alosi's actions were "unforgivable." alosi wasn't fired or banned from the nfl. he got to resign and now he has to try to find another spot on another team. this isn't really out of the ordinary for someone who messed up at their job as bad as alosi did. your vick/ben comparisons make no sense. but i hope he finds his way back on to another team's staff soon.
You right, that was really bad sportsmanship and could have hurt someone. But he was good at this job and one dumb mistake cost him his job and he will probalby never work in the NFl again. Knowing the Jets, they let him resign instead of firing him and hopefully they covered his fine. I still say the coaching staff new about this stuff,
